I hope you are all enjoying New Years and hopefully aren't too hungover!
Well I jumped the gun a bit and decided to start today being the first... and a Sunday - which tends to be my start of the week
So this is me
H - 164cm
Hopefully I'll be trying a smaller number next week! I have been doing weight watchers using an old book and the old points system today - Just as a guide really - I more want to focus on eating healthy foods and upping the exercise. Plus I HAVE to cut down on the amount of wine I drink... I really do love it though
Anyway I'm thinking I'll do the hotpants DVD tonight as I couldn't get out today - and then tomorrow if my first visit at the gym... Wish me luck!!
Hope you are all pumped to shift the kg too!! WAHOO!!

Can I join too?
My new years resolution is to try and lose 10kg, possibly more.
I'm currently 86kg. I started exercising towards the end of last year. I managed to lose two and a half kgs. But in the lead up to Christmas I found myself getting really busy and lost motivation. I'm getting married in March, and would love to see more kgs gone before then!

Goodluck to those that have just joined
To those that have up coming weddings, what great motivation! Im sure everyone can get to their goal weights!
Theboys&me - Your keen That's a nice starting weight(I can only dream to be that weight again, though I am 11cm taller)you are sitting at, what is your goal weight?
I am not weighing in officially until Tuesday, I just weighed myself on my scales at home, but they are a bit unreliable and constantly give me different readings, so I will weight until I am back to the gym on Tuesday (closed tomorrow) and use their scales.

Random question. But we got the kids a 14 foot trampoline at Xmas so we could use it too. I want to use this as well as walking 5 days a week to start with. How long would you say I'd have to use it for at a time for it to do something? Kwim?

For those of us the trying to lose weight for 2012 I got told this awesome advice by a friend! And had to share it. If you are like me and graze at night time on stuff.... She said the key for her was to brush your teeth after dinner and then it helped her not to graze on junk!! I love this idea and I'm going to try it too.

Well I started my fitness kick yesterday... Unfortunately it took several attempts to get the sit ups done as DS1 kept trying to sit on my head
Finally got a half hour in the arvo to do that and some cardio... But it was when the baby was asleep so involved me running backwards and forwards in the back yard with the baby monitor strapped to me!
The scales showed a smaller number already this morning... Will see if it lasts. I'd so very much like to fit my pants!

well done clucky!!
i'm starting my fitness kick today. this week i'll probably be focusing on fixing my diet rather than exercise. i doubt i'll do any 'proper' exercise today as i'm tackling the massive task of packing my life away before i go overseas for 6 months. needless to say, my room is a MESS haha
