we combine 3 families for Xmas
so we all bring our own things
we bring a massive turkey, potato salad, nibbles, pavlova and trifle
another fam brings ham, chicken and pasta salad and plum pudding
and family hosting makes a roast pork and stuff
easiest done this way we then just take home left overs for dinner

We're scaling down this year because it is just the three of us.
Omemade baked beans, bacon and eggs.
Turkey with sage and bacon stuffing
Braised peas with bacon and onion
Carrots in some form ...
Prawns - either cold with aioli or cooked with some garlic and butter and parsley.
And of course Christmas pudding with brandy custard and vanilla cream.
