My friend has been diagnosed with PCOS and now is worried she wont be able to fall pregnant when she starts trying.
So, how long did it take for you to fall?

I have PCOS and managed to conceive naturally within 2 months

I too have PCOS & it took us approx 14 months until we got a positive
I'd recommend telling your friend not to put off TTC. We were of the opinion it would happen straight away & I wish we had known how long it was going to take as we would've loved to start trying alot earlier.
I don't know about your friend but the way PCOS affected me was by not getting a period for a long length of time. Please tell her if she starts trying & AF isn't regular to go to the OB/GYN as they can give medication to regulate. Again, I wish I had known all this earlier too

First bub - 7 cycles but more like 12 months as my cycles were up the creek. 2nd bub was 'trying' for 3but really only put in an effort 1 and fell straight away.

4 months for me but I had help from my crazy chinese lady who got me on a 28 day cycle first time then the second cycle we conceived. We didn't end up needing the fertility specialist which was great.
PCOS is challenge but not impossible.

Although I was very lucky, my sister also has PCOS and it took her well over 12 months. She had several failed rounds with clomid, and ended up seeing a Chinese Herbalist and having acupuncture and that worked for her
