Default Brand Newie from Adelaide South - TTC no.1 :-)

    Hello Everyone!

I'm 22, partner is 30. I've had my Mirena removed a month ago. (wow that hurt) We are engaged but not planning to get married for a while as family issues prevent both sides from coming together. However, we want to start a family.
I'm here to get advise from other mums. As we are not 'married' and our family would disapprove we feel it best to say that the little one is an unplanned gift. We aren't religious but our families are.

We aren't sure how many we want but both of us come from larger families so we would love to have the same.

I'd love to make new friends and and keen for any advise :-)

Hi Angel, I just joined too and noticed that you're from Adelaide too so I thought I'd say HI!

Not sure what I can offer in the way of advice except that my BF and I are now expecting and we've just told our folks. Despite the fact that we're not even engaged, they're all stoked! All parents love being grandparents I think, so even if they are a bit shocked at first I'm sure they'll come around, good luck

    Hi Angel,
I am in the same boat as you are. I am 21 and my partner is 22. We also live in Adelaide South and also trying for our first little baby. If you need to chat. I am here. :-). I got my implanon removed about a month ago as well.

Hey! Thanks for your warm welcome!

I am just hoping that drinking over NY isn't going to affect my chances of conceiving too much. My cycle isn't til a week after NY but still, I am one of those, you can't be too careful you know :-)

I found the IUD fantastic, how did you find yours?

    Hey Angel

We are also in the same boat as you, Adelaide, TTC #1 and no short term Marriage plans

I will be having a few drinkies over NY, we have been trying for 5 months now, so it's much too stressful to put your life on hold while ttc...Well that's my opinion on the matter, haha.

Exactly, you can't stop living while ttc.

Are you eating anything different or avoiding any foods?
