Default Am I allowed to pretend Christmas is not happening this year? :P Can't with littlies

I really can't get into Christmas. We haven't got a a tree up, no decorations, no nothing. But it's not fair on the other kids.
But it just doesn't seem right without him. I went to the carols last night and I couldn't even sing them, everytime I started to i choked up and started crying. The kids were having a ball. I don't know how I'll go Christmas day, I don't want to be home, so we are going away, but still, it will be very hard, yet it's not fair on the other kids to NOT do Christmas, they love it so much.

I have no words of wisdom, but I did want to send you and your family lots of hugs ... I know they don't do anything to ease your pain, but know we are thinking of you.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain try to focus on making christmas special for your other children, as hard as it would be, focus on their happiness and maybe do something nice like get a little present for your son to put on his grave, maybe your other children might like to make him something to put on there too, he may not be with you physically but you can still include him in the christmas celebrations and keep his memory alive I'm sorry if my suggestions are useless I really can't imagine what it would be like my friends mother (friend who has passed away) goes to her daughters grave every year and decorates it with lots of tinsel and decorations etc., she said it helps to make her a part of christmas still cause she knows she loved christmas
