yep, heat rash sucks, one slip up with clothes and they are scratching for 3 days.
Oh and the other tip that was most useful for us... when its really hot, wet a facewasher and wring it out, then fold it over 4 times (so its rolled up but not too bulky) and tuck it under *her* (lol) neck. Does wonders for cooling them down on a hot night.

Yeah my dd1 suffers terribly from them. Or did in the past. Things i found that helped was to use a good quality kids/sensitive suncream during the day (dunno why, maybe the cheaper ones affected how she sweated or something) and to use pinetarsol solution in the bath (it stops the itch). And the facewasher thing (you can also wipe them down when they sleep). Hth
