    Default Freezing raw pumpkin

Can you freeze raw pumpkin? I brought one at the shops yesterday but can never eat it all before it goes off.

    Hi Emzy!

I have done it. I prepared it (peeled and cubed - it was for risotto) and froze it in a ziplock bag. I then just took it out about an hour before I needed it, and chucked it into the dinner.

It was perfect. I'm not sure how it would go freezing in bigger chunks for a roast or something. Probably it would be fine.

    Hope that helps

Good to know because I hate to waste veggies. I will try this next time I have excess.
