Here's how we do it:
Weekdays - I cook dinner and clean what I can as I go. DH stacks the dishwasher before bed. In the morning I get up and unstack the dishwasher and scrub the kitchen benches. I also tidy up anything that has been left out in the lounge room and make the bed. After my shower I spray the surfaces with windex, wipe down the bathroom vanity and do a quick clean of the toilet.
Weekends - same as weekdays, but on Saturday vacuum and mop floors, and on Sunday wipe down kitchen cupboards and dust any surfaces that need it.
I also do a load of washing nearly every day.
I probably devote about 30 minutes to the routine on weekdays, and 45-60 minutes on weekends.
Hope that helps!
