It's interesting to see how young most ppl are when they first encounter it, probably younger than when many parents would consider discussing it... a good reminder of how important it is to have open communication about this stuff with your kids from a very early age.

The concept I assume younger but don't remember a specific age.

5-9: at primary school some boys found a nudie mag under a tree - I would have been maybe 8 at the time. I didn't really understand it but knew enough to know what it was and they knew enough to hide it from teachers.
when i was about 13 we found a porno in the VHS player
I don't really think pron has been part of my adult life though - of course hanging out with DH mates there tends to be pron on the laptops/computers/shared via mobiles.
DH isn't into it; he will occassionally show me something someone has sent him on his phone that was particulary unsual, but i wouldn't say its s3xual per say.
I find the older I get the less intolerant I become of pron and its social implications for all involved. I used to kind of thing each to their own type thing, but now im not so sure.

About 13/14? Ill admit it, i was a troubled teen stuck at home on a rainy day, skipping school.... i looked it up. I learnt about the concept late primary school, then boys in year 7 talked it up like it was super cool.
The thrill of looking it up was more amusing than the actual content. Didnt impress me much!
