    Default Credit card applications

Does anyone else get random banks sending them applications for credit cards? Ive gotten 4/5 in the past 2 months. Asking me to apply saying i could be approved etc. How do they get my name and address? Ive never had anything to do with these banks?

If i wanted a credit card id go to my bank and apply for one! I dont need you mailing me asking me to apply!

Ive started ripping the forms up and putting them back into the "reply" envelope and posting them back

Call the banks and ask them how they got your name and address.
Telstra sells your number to other companies, I wouldn't be surprised if its something like that.

I've had a couple thanks to using the redirection service with Auspost. Apparently if you allow them to tell affiliated companies that you've moved then you can get these types of things. Also if you fail to mark that you don't want any advertising material (which may assist with your move as the blurb says) you can get stuff sent to you that way too.
