Hi all, I'm just over 21 weeks and had my morphology scan last week and met with my midwife & ob yesterday to go through the results. They seem really happy with everything - being a first time mum I just don't know WHY exactly LOL!!
The midwife commented that my placenta is at the back and has good clearance from the cervix, and she said that I should be able to feel pretty much every movement (which I can). She seemed really pleased about this - does anyone know why this is a good thing? And if it is good, will my placenta now stay in this position for the reaminder of the pregnancy or can they move around?
My BP is good and bubs hearbeat is really strong which is great - I don't need any explanation of why that's a good thing haha!

That's great you received the all clear, it means baby is developing normally nothing to be worried about!
You want your placenta to be high away from your cervix opening so bubs is able to come out naturally. If it was laying low it could cover the cervix opening which could mean that you may not be able to give birth vaginally and have to have c-section if your placenta didn't move higher by the time you were full term.
