    That is so incredibly rude . Sounds like they were the reason that old phrase "You can pick your friends, you can't pick your family" was invented!!

    Also, that is an incredibly thoughtful, lovely gift. I'd be over the moon to receive stuff like that (that normally we couldn't afford).

    that is terribly rude of them. i can only imagine how hurt you would be feeling after that rejection.

    sounds like they don't deserve any of your good will. i hope you and your DD can make use of and enjoy the hamper for yourselves

    Yes, rude, and I'm not particularly sensitive about such things! Enjoy the hamper yourself and make a mental note not to bother in future. Best invest your time and love in those who reciprocate! Hugs

    Perfect final reason to think about cutting them off given all the other things you have said and focusing on your dd and all the other people in your life who show you that that care about you.

    That is rude... that sounds like my dream Christmas gift! I'm really sorry it wasn't graciously accepted. Sounds like any family would be lucky to have you in it.
