Congrats on your bubba boy
Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm about to have number three and have found the pains worse each time, so trying to learn what I can do about them this time.
I'm allergic to codeine so Pa assume forte is out, but what is endone? Is it okay for breastfeeding?
Thanks for your help x

Number 3 was the worst... Ouch. Have you tried a heat bag. I found it helped with mine. Congrats on your baby boy.

Im currently expecting no.3 and this is the part that im. looking forward to the least!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaargh!!!!!! I had excruciating after birth pains after no.2 (I've had 2c sections both breech babies ) i remember just laying on the bed on just crying and writhing in agony, a midwife came into check on me and i couldn't even talk. If you can get your hands on a TENS machine, I just read a study in which women found the TENS more effective than drugs for afterpain relief
(also good for after c-sec)
You never know, you might know someone with one?

Endone is fine when breastfeeding. They gave it to me on hospital after having DD2 via c-section, and even sent me home with a script for it.
Sent from my iPhone using Bub Hub....please forgive the bloody auto-correct!
