    Default Holiday Ideas

    Hi All,

Hubby and I are planning a holiday for February. Our little girl will be 11 months old. We have not gone on a holiday with her yet and would like some ideas of where others have gone and how you went. We were thinking of Tasmania? Or Whitsundays....Not sure. If we went to Tassie we would be hiring a car and touring the island. Would that be too difficult with bub?
Where did you go? How did you manage?

We have travelled a fair bit with our LO. When he was 7 months old we went to Hawaii with him. We hired a car for part of our trip and did some driving around the island, which was great. You just have to stop regularly for feeding, changing, playing and fresh air. Not a problem. So a driving tour of Tassie would probably be fine, depends how your LO feels about the car really.

When he was 11 mo we took him to Bali. We didn't do much touring, just hung out at the resort. Had to be a bit careful with food and water of course, but again it was great. Haven't been to the Whitsundays but our bub loves swimming (floating!) so beach/pool holidays are good too.

    Have fun!
