I got the darkest line Ive gotten this cycle on an OPK on Thursday the 1st December. It didnt get as dark as the control line but was still pretty dark the next day (friday) I did two more tests the first was darkish but not as dark as the day before and the second was very faint. Does this mean I ovulated on Thursday? Im a tad confused.

You ovulate around 12-36 hrs AFTER the surge (+opk). How often do you test and what time of the day did you get a +?

I was testing every day around 330pm to start with and as it got a bit darker I tested around 11-1130am and 330pm. Thursday I got the darkest line I tested around 11am..I didnt get to test again that afternoon cos I was driving to Brisbane but I tested the next day (Friday) around 1130am and got a dark line again (although not as dark as the first) and I tested again in the afternoon around 4pm and the line was very faint. Would that mean that I ovulated Friday then?

Also I got EWCM on the Monday and Tuesday..so am I right in thinking that either way I have ovulated?

Hi starflame, my understanding is that you can't really know whether you ovulated with opk, as it only detects some hormone surge which can happen whether the egg is released or not.
I hope you have though! Did you DTD lots on those days?
