Betel - Woo Hoo! Congratulations . I hope this one is super super sticky for you. I agree with everyone else. Some women bleed in early pregnancy and continue to have a healthy pregnancy. I'm praying and hoping that this is the case for you.

Thank you all so much for the good wishes, I am still in shock! BT came back this morning at 228 so everything looks good. But I am still bleeding on and off (just bright red/pinkish, no clots or dark blood) and having horrible AF cramps. The nurse said not to be worried but I am afraid of even making any movement just in case I start to bleed!!! I took the day off and still trying to make sense of all this. I don't feel pregnant at all, just feeling AF is coming, and didn't have any symptoms at all in the past two weeks.
I know it's still a long journey and the bleeding doesn't help, but this is such a milestone for us.
Next BT on Friday
Bron - this was our third cycle with the new clinic and (apart from the ICSI disaster) the last two cycles we seems to have had better embryos. I had been on DHEA for these two cycles but was only on it for two weeks (stimming weeks) in this cycle as my current FS didn't know I was taking it and I was running out . Other than that it was a long down reg cycle with synarel and gonal-f (450). I am also still on prednisone, 6mg a day, and the usual mix of vitamins. I also kept going with all my normal activities: jogging, drinking coffee, a glass of wine every now and then (all the things that people usually say not to do when cycling!!). On top of that DH went out drinking the night before EPU and came home totally drunk!! I was so mad at him and blamed him for the low fertilisation rate!!!! So really I can't see anything particular with this cycle...I just think it was just the right egg and sperm combo!
I also think that the new clinic is handling the embryos better. I had 8 cycles with the second clinic and embryos were always crap. This time we also have a frostie and we haven't had a frostie since Oct 2010!!

Oh betel!!! I am so happy for you honey!!!! That is just wonderful news. Wished I could do the whole emicon thing, but I am on my iPhone. I am so excited for you. You have made my day and I can only imagine how your feeling. It seems so surreal when it does happen. I remember walking around in a dazy haze and having to pinch myself to remind myself that it was really happening. Enjoy it Hun. You are so deserving. It has been a long haul. BTW i had lots of AF cramping and symptoms when I got my BFP even a little bleeding, so that's pretty normal. Even a frosty as well! Wow this was a good cycle. DD was as well and I have been told that good embryos tend to come from the same batch and cycle. It is a numbers game. I am assuming your still with dr. Dunphy?

betel...woohoo. what absolutly fantastic news. You have made my day. Soo happy for you right now. Dont do the look for symptoms and signs..it will do your head in...with my twinnies I did not get many symptoms at all- no sore boobs. no morning sickness no nothing. I also had a bleed so it can be quite normal but yes very very scary to see.

Betel---Woohoo! How many days post transfer are you? That's a nice number. Now just take it very easy for the next two weeks. I had cramps for a long time, I think till about 12-13 weeks I still felt like someone had punched me in the abdomen.

Betel, 228 is a FANTASTIC number! Woo too! With both of my successful pregnancies I felt like AF was on her way until 12 weeks so that is quite, quite normal. Also I didn't get sore boobs until around 7-8 weeks). t was also told by my FS that bleeding was more likely in IVF pregnancies (they don't know why). I can understand the caution (I basically put myself on bed rest for the first two weeks of Tom's pregnancy) but I still think you and DH should be quietly celebrating and I am going to keep on sending positive vibes that your embie (embies? did you have two put back?) are going to keep on growing and thriving and turning into a beautiful, healthy baby. Babe, you deserve this!
