Thank you all so much for your advice I have an appointment booked with wazza on June 15 and was thinking about dr Molloy! It is so nice to hear that so many if you have had BFP's! It makes me feel like I am not doing this all in vain!

Emmy - gah I am so sorry! In that case I will be keeping everything crossed for a miracle before you see Wazza and if not then I hope magic formula is just what you need.
AFM - off to get a scan with Wazza this morning to see what is happening. Spoke to Kate yesterday to let her know nothing was happening as yet and she said a scan was a good idea cos it is best not to be ok the saizen for too long before starting the cycle. Apparently the hysteroscopy may have made my lining really thin and could mean no real af to speak of. Fingers crossed for some good news this morning.

Bronwyn - fingers crossed af is just really light, like Kate is suggesting. How much have you spent on saizen? Wazza said $1500 once then $2000 recently, not sure if the price has gone up?
Afm - feeling achy in my back and a bit bloated. Have scan tomorrow to see if my cycle is going ahead. Woke up to another pregnancy announcement on Facebook you would think with all the options to block people and remove from newsfeed we could have a simple option that said "remove from newsfeed if related to pregnancy or birth" lol. Sorry just having a wingy moment.

The pregnancy and birth announcements on Facebook are like a kick in the guts at times...

Emmylou - Your in good hands with Warren. Hopefully he'll spread his magic for you .
Bronwyn - Hoping you had some good news this morning.
Nicole - Big hug. I don't understand why people need to announce things on FB? I just don't get it. I do have a FB account but only to keep up with certain BH members from my due group. I certainly don't "announce" things on there.

Nicole - good luck for your scan this morning! I hope there is some good news for you. I too hate fb announcements. I like fb to see what is happening with friends who I don't see often but pg announcements are like a kick in the guts.
AFM: saw Wazza, apparently no lining so he said yesterday would be cd2. Picked up our collection of drugs and did first fsh injection at the clinic (I prefer injections in the mornings). Got my Viagra pessaries from the pharmacy and all set to go. I now have two very large and very black bruises on my tummy from the injections from yesterday and they hurt a little - I hope this is not a sign for the rest of the cycle. Did my first nitro-dur patch last night - can I just say I think I want to give up now - have had a huge headache from it all night and did not sleep well at all - not sure I will cope if I have to do that for another two weeks. If anyone has used them before please tell me it gets easier!!

bron..I used the patches too but did not have any bad reaction to them. From memory I think they said you can take mersyndol daytime strength tablets to help with the headaches. Hang in there and have got everything crossed that wazza works a miracle for you..thinking twins sound great...lol

Emmy, I have only just started with Wazza and he is AMAZING. I have to tell you though, I have never been on so many tablets and needles in my life. And neither has DH lol. I hope all goes well with your apppointment with him and your upcoming cycle.
Nicole, I agree, pregnancy announcements can really break your heart, I'm learning to deal with it a little better every time. Except when it's a 18 yo who was knocked up by her ex and living back at her mum and dads cause she can't support herself. That was a real kick in the guts. I have to say though, when I finally get that BFP, I think i will be writing it in the sky
Well, i'm offically on D3 of cycle # 7.
I started my Puregon FSH injection yesterday and started my Clexene and Luveris injections today. So a total of 3 injections every day, and what feels like a thousand tablets a day. And thanks to the Zolodex implant, even on the freezing cold nights, I am waking up flushed and hot lol. Isn't this journey wonderful to our bodies
I've noticed a few of you say that you get a few bruises from all the injections, and I have a little tip that one of the IVF nurses gave me a while ago. On your stomach you have tiny little red veins on the surface of the skin. In between these tiny veins there are white patches of skin. If you put the injection in these little white patches, it doesn't sting so much and the chance of bruising is a little less. So far this method has worked wonders for me. Occasionally I miss and get a vein and it stings like buggery and bruises so I'd say it works.
