Hi ladies. I'm back
I just thought I'd pop in before my first appointment with Wazza on the 7th. Any advise before I see him? Anything I should prepare DH for
I'm a little scared and excited. After 6 failed cycles with my other doctor I am hoping for a fresh new perspective with new ideas on what we can do to get preggers. Cause apparently now that we are a difficult case what we have been doing just didn't want to work. Ah well. New year, new doctor, new cycle, new start. Let those positive vibes flow
I'll read back in the next few days to see where everyone is up to and reply with some personals.
Baby dust to you all!

Most people love Wazza but be prepared he will say weird things like "I'm not a doctor but I'd like to take a look" hahaha he thinks he's so funny but it does make you relax a bit. He might not come out with something that odd for your first appt...fingers crossed!! Be prepared for country music lol

I would just go in with an open mind and a sense of humour.. he will say things that you would not expect to come from the mouth of a dr but just remember he knows his stuff and is very dedicated to the cause of helping us achieve our goal of becoming pregnant. He will be bluntly honest but I found that refreshing. good luck.
Life for me is very busy..bubs are now 6.5 weeks old and growing fast. started to get our first smiles which is absolutely delightful

Welcome back KT. You'll love Wazza. He's like no other Dr I've ever met. He may want to check out your DH 'goods" lol. He made my DH drop his dacks right then and there hahaha.

Thanks for the heads up. I have heard that Wazza is really blunt.
DH has already had his junk fondled by a man before . He wasn't the most comfortable with it but he did it for the cause. He has also had a Testicular Aspiration before as well. So I guess dropping the duds for a little feel won't be as big a deal for him.
The only thing I am worried about is Wazza commenting on my weight. I have been going to the gym and watching what I eat but with the PCOS, it doesn't seem to drop as quick as most people I know. I feel like it's just a constant battle.
I think it is a part of being a gyno to have a sense of humour, my previous doctor would make little joking comments here and there which I wonder how many people would take it the wrong way. To me it just lightened the situation. It was the anathesiest that made a joke just before I went under, he said that he is usually a gardener but thought he'd give this a go for a day. lol. Made me chuckle as I was going under .
I think at this point, I can't take all this too seriously, What will be will be, I just want to know if we should keep spending so much money on the cycles. And I'm hoping that Wazza will just be straight with us. As much as it will kill me if he tells me that it wouldn't be worth our time/money continuing on our own, at least then we can move on and start down the doner track if we choose to. I just don't think our other doctor wanted to tell us to stop.
Anyway, Wazza has some good news for us.
Liney, Congrats on your twinnies, 6.5 weeks already wow. I remember when you found out it was a BFP.. It's great to hear a success story.

KT - Wazza may mention losing weight but he's not too worried about it. He may just say if you lose some weight great but no biggie. He said that to me when we did our first cycle and I was 65kg I'm 5kg heavier now (thank you DD2).He more work with what you got type. He'll def tell your straight up what he thinks will or will not work so there is no false hope so to speak.
For my FET my anathesiest was telling me a joke too. But he wasn't going to let me in on the punch line before sending me off into lala land hahaha. If it wasn't for the nurse I still wouldn't know the punch line .

I just wanted to come on and say hi to KtKing. With regards to seeing Wazza, I think it will really help if you have a spreadsheet with the following information. I did a spreadsheet with all this info and it really helped him and it illuminates a lot of questions. Also, he wont say much about your weight so don't worry hun .
Type of cycle
Dose of drugs and how long you took them eg. 150iu for 9 days
Date started drug
Date of EPU
From the time of Jabbing till EPU
Number of eggs collected
Number of eggs mature ICSI'ed
Number of eggs fertilized
Number of embryostransferred
Number of frozen embryos and what day frozen
Hello to everyone! I can't wait to cycle soon, I'm just waiting for AF then I'll start sniffing

Hope you are all doing well. It's been a little quiet in here lol.
We saw Wazza yesterday and I'm now pill popping. I start sniffing on day 8 of pill popping. So another down reg cycle. It was successful for DD2 so hopefully it will be successful again. I stop BCP on the 26th March so hopefully AF isn't 2 weeks away from then like last time .

Hi lillyponds, hi amanda!
Hi to everyone else!
It has been very quiet on here lately!
Lillyponds - good luck did you cycle with Wazza last time when you got your dd?
Afm - just pill popping. I am having trouble with the dhea pill at night. It's keeping me awake or only allowing me to sleep very lightly. So I am going to trial taking it 2 x morning and 1 x lunch. I am feeling really positive about my next cycle but also starting to make plans (in my head) for a future with one child. And it's not so bad, we are thinking about going to Disneyland when dd is around 5 years old. Probably something we wouldn't afford to do with more than one child. So we are making these plans and if we get a pleasant surprise in another baby, then we will be even happier.
Happy weekend to everyone

Yes we cycled with Warren last time as well. We'll be following the same cycle as we did with DD2. Why change what works?
When are you cycling? I have no idea abut DHEA so I can't help you there .
FX you are pleasantly surprised with another bub and Disneyland is shelved
