To All the beautiful Brissy Girls who are aware of our journey and who have provided me with support in the past. Just wanted to pop in and advise that following a donor cycle in South Africa we are coming home with a little Sprinbok on board. Just received my BT results this morning and have a bHCG of 164. Hoping like crazy this little one sticks around. Xxx

Thanks, in actual fact it just gave us more questions than answers. Mostly financial questions as to how we are actually going to pay for this. We have enough saved for two rounds only, but if we use all our savings then we will be in dire-straits when we are on one wage (if I do get pregnant) as I will not be receiveing any paid maternity leave & will simply lose my job. It's mostly cause single-gene PGD is so expensive (about $5000) and it's not covered under private health or medicare - so with the ivf expenses as well we will be a huge amount out of pocket. Don't know whether we will go through with this, and all we do is fight about money, I'm sick of it.

    Laned WOOHOO CONGRATULATIONS
You and DH have been through so much, I'm so delighted that you have a BFP after your incredible journey. Sending the stickiest of sticky vibes for that emby to hang in there and grow beautifully into the bouncing baby you deserve so much - such a lucky baby it will be to have parents who were willing to go literally to the ends of the earth to make it happen. I hope you have a relaxing flight back home, and the morning sickness doesn't kick in until you are safely back in Brisvegas .

Nicole we will hopefully be cycling end oct early nov. DH has holidays again around that time so hopefully AF comes late so it will work in better hahaha who am I kidding AF never does what she is told and since AF arrived early during our last FET I don't know if it will be from that time frame or if it will be from my "normal" cycle due dates I just don't know since we had the chem pregnancy. I hope it goes back to normal cycle just got to wait and see

    Congrats laned

Heartstringz sounds like some good news, just costly. I guess you and your partner need some time to decide what path you want to go down.

Well I just had my transvaginal scan today 6 weeks 2 days. One sac with heartbeat. However I am a little worried now. I just went to the toilet and a very small amount of spotting present. Is this normal after a transvaginal ultrasound? I am really worried.

    Laned congratulations that's wonderful news

Bala a little bit of spotting can be quite normal. Keep am eye on it but don't stress yourself out about it. That's great news that you saw a heartbeat on the scan
