Congratulations brisvegasmum that's wonderful news. Try not to stress too much and just enjoy it, although I know that's really hard to do.

AFM: sadly not good news, but what we expected. Sac has not really grown, but he wasn't sure if there was anything in there so off to ultrasound place for scan tomorrow for final confirmation before we organize d&c early next week.

sorry to hear that Bron. Sending big hugs your way. Did wazza say where to go from here or has that not been discussed yet? Maybe he just needs to adjust a few things...

Liney Wazza is on holidays. We have been seeing Ben Kroon. Have an appt to see Wazza on the 1 August, hoping he has some suggestions. I have already started dh on supplements and seeing accupuncture as its looks now more like a sperm issue than an egg issue. So at this stage depending on what Wazza says will try to do another stim later this year and see how that goes.
I also think part of our problem may have been the scaring and infection that I had in my uterus which he only found doing the curette as part of our last cycle.

Bron I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you're okay (as okay as it's possible to be given your sad news). It sounds like you are focusing on moving forward and nailing this thing, I wish you all the luck in the world.
Wow brisvegasmum that's wonderful news - congratulations! What was your HCG and how many DPO if you don't mind me asking? For some reason I'm thinking I have just one in there though I know twins are a seriously possibility. Will find out on 31st July I guess!

I'm so sorry Bronwyn..it's so unfair at times and I really hope the next cycle is the lucky one. It's taken us 12 cycles to get to this point with lots and lots of drama on the way - I really do think it's just a numbers game and when it's your turn, it's your turn. Along the way I've lost weight, gained weight, done acupuncture, not, changed FS, changed protocol, used ICSI, haven't, used PGD, haven't..and I certainly stopped believing it would actually work. Everyone says "this was my last cycle" but it really was - September will mark 6 years since our first and I have said all along I wouldn't go into a 7th. Anyway, my point is there is just no knowing what the next round will bring and I wish you every single bit of strength and peace to face whatever is next..I feel so much for you, having traveled a very long road myself. ((Hugs)).
Tooty - my 1st Beta was 283 on 15dpo (and my p4 was 1111.0!! High progesterone can also indicate multiples apparently).. My second Beta was 4160 on 21dpo (P4 of 700) and on 28 dpo was 30000. (P4 500). Compared to previous pregnancies the HCG was quite high and right in the middle of the range for twins, according to Betabase. I'm not sure how many DPO you were but it certainly sounds high for a first Beta. I also tested with a HPT the night before my first and the line came up really quickly - much more so than previous BFP's. I guess more than anything though I just had that feeling - everything I looked up online was about twins while I waited for that scan. It's exciting but really hard to let myself get carried away with it..I just need to get to 14 weeks to relax a little more. Can't wait to hear how you go on the 31st!

Not sure what to think at the moment. Had our scan this morning and we have a heartbeat. BUT the embryo and the sac are only measuring 5w3d and today I should be 8w1d. At this stage it will continue to be a waiting game and probably scan again in another week to ten days. We are not hopeful as it is measuring 2.5 weeks behind at this stage and the heartbeat is slow at 95bpm.
