Leannep, EPU is likely to be Thursday or Friday. Scan showed 6 small follies and have second scan on Tuesday, so hopefully they have grown nicely by then and thankfully no nasty cyst this time. Start morning and evening jabs tomorrow.... Urghhh.. Hope you enjoyed the movies.

Mum2oneDS- Good to hear EPU went well. Hope you're feeling OK now. Fingers crossed for great fertilisation results
Zacmick- I can't believe your little godson is 6 months already! It sounds like you are such good support to his mum, so nice of you.
Leanne- Movies sounded like a good idea last night It was really hot in our house, but I hate having the aircon on all the time cos I spend all day in it at work. Silly, I know!
Alittleray- Good luck with the next scan
AFM, not much to report. Just working and organising the house. My car DID get written off in the end so I picked up the wagon on Friday. Loving driving around in a 'family' car, now I just need a little someone to fill it with

Hi woowoo Sorry you find yourself here, but the ladies on this forum are so supportive and full of good advice. Feel free to ask any questions you like!
Which clinic have you been referred to?

Welcome woowoo! We are rather similar...I just turned 38 and I have a DS who is 6. What is the reason for doing IVF? We have secondary infertility, DH's sperm count and condition are no good.
Vesper, congrats on the new wagon..your doggies will love the space! And your little one coming too...
AFM : Embryologist called me early this morning and said that out of 5 eggs, 2 immature and 2 fertilised from the remaining 3. Advised thatt we should transfer on day 3 instead of day 5. At first I was hesitant thinking i wantt them to grow to day 5 and if they dont I wont transfer this cycle but after listening to DH's I think it is reasonable to do day 3. Hope that our two little embies are the champions this time.

Mom2OneDS...all four of my BFP's have been day 2 or 3 (including this one).....so there is lots of hope from day 3 embies.....
Hi woowoo and welcome.... ask any questions you like...between all of us here I think we just about cover most aspects of IVF....
I have got a sore neck today....must have slept wrong....but I hope it is gone by tomorrow....more work but I cant be bothered anymore.....wish I could finish work now!

Hi girls - and thanks for your welcomes and replies xx
Vesper - I need to check the referral again but its Melbourne IVF and I think it's Dr Gronow (something like that). I think he is in East Melbourne.
Mum2oneds - sorry ur in this situation 2, but it's nice to share the journey with someone in a similar place as me. We have been trying for over 2 years. I had a Lap in December which was all good and DH sperm is good too. Unexplained!!!
It took almost 2 years to conceive our DD. but this time I am running out of time!!!
Jacklicky- I gather congrats are in order??!! I hope I got that right - if I did - yay!!! Ivf works!! Good luck xx

Thanks woowoo and Marttc, i hope I can be an inspiration that it all works (well eventually). It took us two years from starting TTC to get that sticky BFP.
Woowoo, we were with Dr Gronow. I think he is a good doctor but he is not warm and fuzzy...but then I ultimately decided who needs warm and fuzzy, I just want a doctor that knows his stuff. He is extremely busy so sometimes I felt like he didn't really know what was happening with me....but whenever I had concerns and called he always called back that evening.... I started trying for No2 when i was 37-38 and i finally got this BFP just before I turned 40....took longer that we hoped but we didn't know DH had fertility issues this time around when we started.....Dr Gronow will tell it like it is....so hope you get the same result he got for us!
Marttc, hahaha I have been talking to you for ages now and you didn't know???? I wont say IVF was easy (physically it wasn't hard for me but emotionally it was - and i wont even blame the drugs....just more the doubt about it working - and for me sticking)
