Mum2oneds, I was with MIVF and my FS did all my scans but I usually when where he was (so into the city mostly as I worked there). The one time he said I could have a scan at the 'satellite' clinic the nurse who was on that day wasn't trained in scanning so I had to go into the city anyhow. He was only at the satellite clinic once a week so most of the time I was in the city even on my days off...
Midnite, Im sorry you dont think this one worked. I did a spreadsheet of expenses once...and yeap...ouch was the work I used! Goodluck for Feb!
Alittleray.....so excited for you! Goodluck for Monday!
Leannep....yay to the sniffing (hahahah that sounds weird) but its good to be doing something!
Marttc, what are you talking about for public vs private? IVF or actually having a baby in a hospital.
Im going good. Not much to report. Just over 22wks now and aside from a growing belly and lots of movements nothing much happening. Going back to work on Monday but I can at least start the countdown...Im thinking of trying to take some annual leave before I start Mat leave so I can finish up work a bit earlier....I just have had enough of work....wish I could give it up for good!

Hi GuysJust jumping on to see how everyone is going.Alittleray - it all looks really promising, goodluck with the bt tomorrow.Jack - wow 22wks, time is flyingMarttc - re your dh's morphology issues, my dh had morphology issues too (big headed sperms!) so we did ICSI at Melb IVF and as you can see, I have a 5 month old DD! We were told we only had a 5% chance of a natural pregnancy as I also have PCOS. I had a laproscomy too (if that is checking the tubes) just to double check there were no issues with my tubes. Re private hospitals vs public, I am in the south eastern suburbs too and I gave birth at Peninsula Private in Frankston as a private patient as I wanted my own room and I am not a fan of many of the public hospitals in my area (Casey, Dandy, Frankston etc) but I was lucky enough to find a GP who specialises in obstetrics so that kept my costs down and I only paid for scans etc and my excess (as well as other costs for the caesarian) for private health when I was in hospital. Can't remember who was asking about scans etc at MIVF but my FS did all the scans at her office in the city.Hi to everyone else

Marttc, I went public with DD and had nothing to complain about. I had a midwife with me at all times and OB's in and out when required. An OB attended my birth. It was a lovely big room. I did have a room to myself when I first went back to the maternity ward but they did bring another lady in about midnight. Sharing wasnt so much fun (her bubs was really unsettled) but I only stayed in one night (my request) so it was fine. I still had to pay for scans as the hospital had no appointments avaliable but that was it....
Im doing the midwifes program this time around....so as long as all goes well they will diliver my bubs....but I am still in the hospital and the OB's are there if required!
Mummyplease, how is Willow going? 5mths already....time is really flying.
Alittleray....goodluck for today, hope you get some nice high numbers!
Hi to everyone else....
Im back at work today but I did put in my maternity leave (and a bit of annual leave) today. Im hoping if my boss agrees to my annual leave I can finish up end of March....and have a bit of quality time with DD before bubs comes! 10 wks of work to go!!!!!

Thanks so much for all of your kind wishes. Sadly it is not good news. I was a little worried when the last two day's HPTs seemed to be getting lighter and tried to think positive today, but suspected something may have been a miss and sadly BT revealed HCG of only 26 I doubt it is a late implanter as due to HPTs getting lighter, so another BT on Thursday for which I do not hold out much hope. Just praying it is not yet another ectopic. Two in a row would be so cruel. Forgive me for no personals today, but I will catch up on all the news tomorrow. I'll have picked myself up by then. xo

Littleray, did I remember wrong but was it the same scenario the previous time you having lighter lines then got darker and was a confirmed pregnancy? I hope Thurs result would be a pleasant surprise. It sounded so promising last few days. I know you are very strong lady but still uncool to be knocked down another time.
Thanks ladies for your help with scan info. Unfortunately MIVF is a bit screwed up too. In December I saw them posting on their website about sperm magnification but today the nurse justs confirmed with me that they havent started the technology here in Melbourne. The PLA did not even know what it was. And the nurse thought that Sperm magnification is the same as PGD....haha I seem clearer than them...I should work part time there. And the new FS whom we saw on FRiday said yes we can use this technology for our next cycle which is starting today! What a waste of time trying to switch over.
SO anyway without sperm magnification, DH and I decided to do the 4th cycle with Monash IVF instead which is soo much nearer and convenient to where we live. So DH's gonna collect ddrugs and pay later and I shall be starting my jabbing tonight. Will be on an antagonist cycle again. Itt seems like we are making rather crappy embryos thus far and I really pray that we will be able to make two decent ones this time. TBH I am not sure how far I wil trave on this rollercoaster ride, a bit excited to try again, it means hope, but at the same time apprehensive too. Boy I would rather take the real rollercoaster in Movie World than the IVF one.
