Quartz - Yay! Enjoy the shopping :-)
Just got BT results...
Hcg is at 11150 (26dpo)
Prog is 115
It's up from the hcg of 1640 I had a week ago at 19dpo but hasn't doubled every 2 days... Though I'm pretty sure the doubling time increases once you hit a hcg level of 6000?
Results 1,291 to 1,300 of 1641

Wow nat! Yes, hcg does start to slow down a bit - I think it's even as low as about 2000 that it starts to slow. That sounds amazing. I think Felicita is right - there could be two!

Nat - Great news! Yes it does start to slow down above 6000, but those levels are still high.... Can't wait to see if you have one or two in there!

Posting from phone - first time does that now make me tech savey? Lol
Nat - Whoo hoo those numbers sound great, can't wait to hear about the scan
Quartz - yay 2 beautiful boys for you how wonderful
Catemar - I nearly laughed my cup if tea down myself this morning reading about the dancing naked in the moon light, but if you and you DP do and it works let me know game enough to try anything. Crossing fingers, toes and everything in between that this is your cycle.
Hello to everyone I have missed
AFM, had bt today and as expected was a BFN, but my main worry was start of very early menopause which I am a candidate for, but lucky not that either, apparently I only just O'ed a few days so AF should be here within the next 2 weeks so will start jabbing again then. They think cycle was messed up from surgery and also coming of the pill.
Have a great weekend everyone xxx

i have been following the posts on my phone but I have been flat out at work...tonight I'm staying home and catching up over a glass of wine.
peonies thank you for offering to keep the roll going. Its a hard job i imagine!
best wishes to all the pregnant girls out there. its lovely hearing about your growing babies as it gives the rest of us some hope.
Congratulations to nat
felicita, i hope your DH is doing better. I was horrified to read about everything you both went through recently. how sad and frustrating that these things have to happen.
catemer, i had to laugh about your dancing naked comment..
has u read Inconceivable, by Ben Elton?? (very satirical, funny but also sad book about a LTTC couple) your comment reminded me of the lengths we will go to!!!! Well if it works..........
Hi to everyone else
Me: well i have been missing as i have had a few setbacks since my Stim cycle. Firstly my cycle blew out to 49 days I ended up going to Acupuncture to see if it would help end it. That and 2 days of provera helped.
Then this next cycle which was supposed to be my natural FET cycle was recently cancelled because my hormone levels went nowhere and I am apparently not going to ovulate this month either.
I was very upset as I have never had any ovulation issues before. So now the FS wants me to take more provera and clomid for the next FET cycle. So much for going al naturale......

nat84u - doubling times will slow down. Good luck for the 7wk hurdle.
quartz - yay.
Alison12 - Hope AF behaves for you.
Lillac - sorry AF isn't behaving for you, but thankful the option of medicated FET is available.
DH recovery isn't going to be as quick as we thought. A bit bummed about that. Most of the Drs say he will be out before the twins are born. I've told him I'm not doing premature labour just to get him home.
His respiratory muscles got so completely fatigued that he was intubated on Monday morning. Yesterday he was initiating all his own breathing, but the Drs say the machine is still giving a lot of assistance with each breath. They now say the way forwards for getting off the machine within a couple of weeks (yeah ... we had been thinking couple of days) is to have a tracheostomy. Not what we wanted to hear. But as they are saying that it's the path forwards then it's the one we'll be taking.
Another idea of later having a mini-trach might be one we also go with, either before discharge or a few months later. The respiratory specialists are hopeful that that might help us avoid him getting to this point again when the twins start bringing home all sorts of bugs. (He used to have a cold get away from him every 2 years when his sisters were at school, and repeating that has been a concern of ours.)
Fingers crossed he's "happy" and stable on Wednesday morning, because I want to attend my grandmother's funeral. (I promise I'm not making up this saga.)
Other than all that, things are going fine. Haven't done any proper housework for 2 weeks, but have started cleaning up nursery and unpacked 2 crates of hand-me-downs. Only 5 bags to go (2 hand-me-downs from Mum's workmate, 3 brand new from my sister) before we know if I need to buy any baby clothes. "Cleaning up nursery" means anything that doesn't belong there has simply been added to the mess in the rest of the house.
Ordered a pram last Sat or Sun. Plan to buy 2 cots but only set up one to start with, but have the other one here from the start just in case they prefer separate sleeping.

DP has had the pineapple core on our last FET for 5 days after transfer. And yes, Pom only until night before transfer.
Congrats for the 21wk mark. It is so nice to hear that this process does actually work! I hope the rest of your pregnancy is smooth sailing. And 2 boys! Awesome!
Good luck for your 7 week scan.
Those numbers definitely sound like there's 2 bubbas in there!
Congrats. You must be so excited. Only a few more weeks until you get to see your little one. Take it easy, relax and enjoy.
Thanks for that info. And given that we are in Wagga at the moment and this morning, according to Weatherzone, it is -0.6degrees but feels like -4.3 it's definitely a bit chilly for nakedness!
Sorry to cause you to almost waste your tea! 😄
At least now with your Bt results you know when to expect AF.
No. I haven't read that book, but have now added it to my list of to-read! Sorry to hear about all your setbacks. Hopefully you can now move forward with your next cycle and that all the extra drugs make it the one.

Hope I didn't get anyone wrong or forget anyone! Hopefully in a week or so, will be able to move a few of us to Cycle Underway.
Looks like Lindylou has changed her user name to SimpsonDesert.
Hope everyone's well.

Well I had my US and BT this morning and am now booked for FET on Tuesday. I am now taking 12 mg progynova per day and will start 400mg progesterone pessaries twice a day on Monday. I am transfering my last 2 embies a s long as they survive the thaw. FN said they will run BT for pregnancy rather that urine home test cause they want to keep an eye on my hormone levels. I am so relieved. I have acupuncture booked prior to transfer and see naturopath after transfer. OMG its a full day. Then I will be resting for the rest of the week for sure.
Quartz: 2 boys, that's so exciting!!!
TTHC: Its so good to hear from you again honey. I hope you are well.
Catemar: I hope all goes well with cycle. Your DP is so strong. How is your MIL doing?
Allison: sorry for the BFN
Nat: good luck with your scan.
Felicita: I hope DH gets better real soon and comes home. It must be hard (By yourself) and exciting for you to be setting up the nursery
Congratulations to everyone who is cooking up a storm.
Best wishes to everyone waiting or starting cycles.
A big hello to Peonies, Traveler, EO, Mac8, Lillac, Crofty, Lola, Paddlegirl, Bella, Lindylou and everyone else I have missed.
Enjoy your weekend.
