Hi ladies, hope you all had a great weekend! Any BFP yet?
I'm cd11 today, had some wet/watery CM yesterday but went out with friends yesterday/last night so didn't test with the OPK (damn it!) I tested tonight though and it was a faint positive but you can clearly see it- i know you shouldn't count them if faint but I'm just wondering if Maybe i have missed it as in it was positive yesterday and slowly getting lighter or I am about to?!? I normally don't see anything on the OPKs so I know something's happening/happened.
We did BD last night and today just to be sure.
I got a strong positive OPK last month on cd13 but its possible to ovulated earlier right? I don't go for my ultrasound until Tuesday cd13. What do you girls think?

Hi ladies, I had a 6.5 week scan to check for twins just the one, checked ovaries to see what clomid had done and my right side was the ovulated one with a HUGE 2nd folly (was prob only hrs off being a twin) bout 4cm x 3.5 cm so now a cyst!!! Grrrr hoping it dissolves but like the other 48 I have btw the 2 I'm doubtful.. Do I need to worry?

Mam id totally still go for it!! I am opting for an unmonitored cycle if this one doesn't result in a bfp.
Equine i hope that cyst disappears on its own!!
Missmya Im not sure, id bd just incase and your scan will tell you more on Tuesday.
Afm my DD has tonsilitis so it's been a pretty horrible weekend. She's 9.5 months so not dealing with it very well, poor possum.
I didn't test today, will tomorrow morning. Not feeling the love though!!

Bfn this morning. It may be too early at 9 or 10dpo, but i don't think so. No symptoms at all
Also can i get a bit of advice on something. Through my clinic we are monitored by blood tests and if the levels suggest multiple follicles they get you in for a scan. I've never been in for a scan so I'm assuming I am only producing 1 follicle (e2 got to a max of 1800).
I am thinking about having a month off from the clinic if this isnt my month, as with christmas etc its too hard for blood tests. But I will go ahead and take the clomid anyway. I am also thinking about increasing my dose... do you think this is really silly? Would going from 50 to either 75 or 100 really increase the follicle production that much?

Hi everyone, Sorry I haven’t been around for the last couple of weeks, it's been so crazy of late. Will try and catch up on everyone’s progress today or tomorrow.
Was studying for my uni exams like crazy week before last, on the monday of exam week my DS1 came down with chicken pox and hubby was away for work, and no one was able to watch him while I sat my exams so I then had to defer them which means I won't get to do them till the end of JAN! Such a pain in the butt... Oh well.
DH being away here and there over the last couple of weeks and a sick child has made this whole cycle a bit difficult. It's almost impossible for me to get to the Fert clinic and back in time to get DS1 off to school (as it's over an hr round trip) so this month has been pretty much unmonitored. I am a bit nervous about it too, as last cycle I had 4 follies at O, and this month my dose has been increased so I’d hate to think how many will be there now?
I have tried doing OPK's but they don't seem to work for me cause I get positives all month long, so we have just been trying to dtd when ever DH has been home and paying close attention to my body. I'm pretty sure I O'd on saturday so by my calculations 14dpo will be Christmas eve. for a special Christmas present.

I was just reading today that if you are successfully ovulating one egg on 50mg you shouldn't increase the dose as more can actually impair your ability to ovulate. One follicle is exactly what you want! If you are ovulating with one follicle with the 50 then the drug is doing what it is supposed to and increasing would be detrimental and possibly cause more unwanted side effects and overstimulation! I would def stick with the 50!
Hyperstimulation is not a nice thing to go through, I just had a friend go through hyperstimulation and was hospitalized for two weeks, with ovaries the size of softballs, swears she will never take clomid again! Please be careful!!! I don't reckon an unmonitored cycle is the best time to increase it!
If u are ovulating with the clomid, is there another reason it's not happening?? I can't remember reading if u have tried IUI??

Minipolly!!! How goes it?? Had your scan yet????????? Anything????
Last tablet this morning!!! Yay!!! And AF has gone!! Time to start the BDing!! ;-)

Thanks for that mam, you are very probably right! I think if i do for an unmonitored cycle I will do the 50 only.
Well not sure whats going on with me, i started spotting very light pink blood around midday, mostly when i wiped but got (tmi) 2 drops on my liner. Then i found one bright red spot when i wiped so figure AF must be on her way, nice and early as before. But now its stopped completely and I have quite a bit of cramping. I'm hoping this isnt AF and maybe, just maybe, implantation???
Called the clinic and will go in on Wednesday for a blood test regardless.

So just had my scan at work (cd13). I have a big 20mm follicle on my right (always seems to be my right i ovulate from!?!?) My endometrium is 8mm which is perfect apparently but the sonographer thinks I may have already ovulated as I have some fluid in my endometrium or something like that which happens right after ovulation. I thought I may have ovulated the other day due to all the CM I was getting, so fingers crossed i have already otherwise i have a good sized one there anyway. Wish I starting the OPKs from cd10 damn it!!

I had my first scan yesterday afternoon on CD12 and FS said that both ovaries are polycystic with no sign of any dominant follicle
He said all the little follicles are the same size and he doesn't hink I have responded to the 25mg. But we are doing another scan on CD15 Thursday, just to see if the response is a bit delayed.
If no response then I am guessing the IUI cycle will be cancelled because the clinic closes over Christmas / New Year so even if I respond late, we will just have to try naturally instead of IUI. Very disappointed and upset, even though I knew the first cycle was experimental to see what dose I would respond to, I just feel like my body is so broken and I hate it.
He also suggested that we try 50mg next cycle and if I don't respond, he prefers to use injectables (FSH injections) as he has more control over it, and can up the dose if needed during the cycle so less chance of cancelling the cycle. Has anyone had this done instead?
Wow Mam hospitalised for 2 weeks, sounds awful, is she ok now? That is my worst fear on clomid is the lack of control over my body's response to the drug, and like my FS said once it's in there we can't take it out again! Is there the same risk with the FSH injections?
Feeling really down today, just had high hopes for a Christmas BFP.
missmya that's great you have a good sized follicle! You seem to respond well, that's awesome news.
