Glad that appointment went well for you cinder!

I got my blood test results and my hcg is 4, which is negative, but my silly FS wants it at 0 before i'm 'allowed' to start my clomid. But I know i'm not pregnant anymore, tests are getting lighter and lighter and i'm bleeding heavily... so i'm going to start 50mg today. Bit naughty I guess

So I have been looking up the dye test to check my tubes and it sounds scary, And people seem to say it hurts. Have any of you lovely ladies had this test done, how was it for you, should I take someone with me?

do you guys mind if i join in?
I'm on month 3 of clomid, and now have started metformin too.

Cinderella: I've had it. its uncomfortable and weird but doesn't really hurt. its like a weird pap smear. and its over super fast. less tan 30 mins form going in to going out again. and my guy showed me the results right there in the screen so i didn't have to wait for results.Dh went with but in all honesty i could have easily done it alone.

AFM: the first couple months on clomid were ok, some hot flushes and a bit moody but this month takes the cake. Yesterday i was going from rage ( when i never ever get angry) to tears in 10 seconds flat. lasted for a few hours. and more hot flushes this time too. hopefully that means it working.
Not sure what the interaction is with metformin. I'm taking that to level out my blood sugar and hopefully reduce insulin resistance. and maybe drop some kilos.

    Anyone else taking both?

    Thanks

Cinder, I had one Monday, worst part was when they inflate the balloon stretching everything, but it went away really quick. I had no pain or anything after. Just a slight period crampy feeling. But was fine the next day. I'd googled it lots and got myself worried sick about it. But it really was nothing. Just a really expensive nothing :-)

Cinderella88 good news on the specialist appointment I hope the tests are okay and go well - well as you hope anyway you don't want to see/find anything bad but sometimes you want something there that can be fixed and explains it all if you know what I mean. I'm so tired lol.

Chubear I'm on Metformin and Clomid at the moment don't think they really interact with each other just helps two different symptoms of the same syndrome?

I'm on the last day of clomid for my first month, AF has been really long this time around, it's normally only 3 days but I'm still going day 6 but from what I read that's normal to.

Only symptom so far is a pinch/pain in my lower back left side - perhaps ovary pain I thought I had just hurt my back but seems like a coincidence.

He also said to go ahead with my last round of clomid, I feel so much better about everything now and am looking forward to working everything out.
That is so great - congrats about the engagement AND the good specialist visit!!

I'm off to have my tubes checked too, though AF isn't "due" for 2 weeks, so I'll be waiting around for a while for that. I'm glad yours went well!!

Do your temps show ovulation as well?
I have heard that you can have a LH surge and not ovulate, so its possible.

Just a quick update from me! Finished my last clomid tablet yesterday, not too many side effects, mainly just some cramping. Got my day 11 scan this Tuesday then it's down to business! How are other people tracking this month?
