I have had 4 HSG's done in the last 6 months or so and I had a dye study done when I had my surgery in November.

Congratulations Kimnus!! That sounds really promising

AFM: AF was due yesterday but hasn't shown up yet got a bfn but I didn't get a bfp with ds until I was almost 10 weeks along so I think I will have to go and have a bt next week if af doesn't show up soon

I was in alot of pain almost threw up n the following 2 days were worse I had to get prescribed pain killers but that is very rare so I've been told. Just my luck tho

I was told to take panadol or something similar before and that seems to have helped me. Had some pain during (but nothing major) and no cramping or anything afterward. I won't tell you it was comfortable and it depends on the issues. I did have blocked tubes and the last HSG I had done managed to unblock them so I am really, really happy about it and am so grateful I had it done! It did mean he put a LOT of contrast in for that one which wasn't pleasant at all as he said he was going to keep going until I told him the pain was unbearable but it cleared the tubes so all is good. I am sorry you had such a bad experience with it though ... it sounds awful
