Hello Ladies, Hope you dont mind me crashing the thread!
I havent been on bh since my last IVF cycle back in 2010...am looking at making an appointment again to start trying for bub no 2!
Any of you ladies at Hollywood? Have the doctors changed around at all, or the mad scientist still there?? Haha...
Anyone willing to share the process of a FET with me? I have only had a fresh embie popped back in before.
Bit about myself, can only conceive with IVF as both my tubes were removed in September 2010, (Removed due to Bilateral Hydrosalpinx). First IVF cycle started right away thanks to Dr Brett pushing it to start. And we got lucky, with a BFP on the first transfer just in time for Xmas.
Now to jump back on the rollercoaster and fingers crossed can get lucky again.

Hilton04 Welcome Back. I hope your second is as short as your First. Dr Brett is still at Hollywood. FET you can do Natural, Medicated with Puregon or Gonal-f or you can do a HRT FET. With FET you pay for your medications seperately. Good luck with #2

Hilton04.. All the best for your cycle!!
Your journey sounds similar to mine.. I have a 20 month old and have just become pregnant with number 2!
HFC is much the same, but no Wendy ;( you have to go to nedlands for preg scan and any major scans as all the nurses are now doing them!
Fingers crossed for you, may it be easy and uneventful!

Catchick I will be thinking of you tomorrow XXX
Hi everyone else, hope you are all going well XXX

Hello lovely ladies, I've never posted before so am a bit nervous. First of all let me say how brave I think you all are going through this roller-coaster that is the ivf journey. I'm about to embark on my 3rd FET at hfc, using dr perkins. I started my progonova 4 days ago.
Me n my hubby started this ivf journey in 2010, where a stimulated cycle ended up with 30 eggs but hyper ovarian stimulation which put me in hospital for a week. We were so lucky to fertilise n freeze 18 embryos but it took me 3 months to recoup my health. So, I first transferred (fet) in march 2011 n had a bfp. I had a beautiful pregnancy with no complications, but lost my beautiful baby girl as a result of a cord accident n she was stillborn in nov at 37 weeks. It was the most awful experience I have ever endured n I'm still getting my head around it.
I plucked up the courage to try again in April with another bfp but m/c at 6 weeks. I'm tryin my best to stay positive for this next go, which I only hope I can at least reach the first hurdle n get a bfp. It would be lovely to go through this cycle with some ladies who understand the heartache that is ivf. Thinking of you all, n you esp tomorrow cat chick xxxx

Welcome SJG, and welcome back Hilton.
Hope all you lovely ladies are well.
Hilton, sounds like we are in the same boat RE: tubes removed, so glad the first cycle worked for you, I am currently on my first ttw. I'm with HFC, Dr Barton but Dr Brett did my epu and transfer.
SJG, sorry to hear of your misfortune, it must of been an absolute nightmare to endure, I can't imagine how you feel, I hope you are coping as well as you can
Catchick, good luck today, I hope you get some answers and your recovery is a quick one.
AFM, I keep going to bed nice and early, around 830, but I'm wide awake by about 330/4 am, I have always been an early riser,5 to 6 am but this is borderline ridiculous!!! First progrsterone test today, 4dp 3dt, and time could not drag on longer if I wanted it too. But I'm trying to get a bit accomplished without over doing it, it's hard to balance. I'm home alone for 4weeks at a time, and DH is only home for 1week, DH always comes home when he is needed though, but he's not due home until the 20/8, so I'm a bit worried if I get a bfn on the 9/8, as I will only be able to talk to him on the phone, and my family live in Albany and even if I get a BFP, I'll have to either wait to celebrate with him, or celebrate by myself, but at least I have my twin border collies (brother and sister from same litter) and black cat to keep me company and my sanity in check. They are the best fur babies. so loving, gentle and sweet, they know when a cuddle is in order, or when I need some space, my fur family is my rock, and DH too.

Catchick - Hope you have a speedy recovery.
PerthS - Good luck for your appointment on Friday!
kdsd - how are your injections going? I found the needle of my second injection (orgalutron) a bit bigger than my Gonal F.
Hilton04 - Welcome!
SGJ - Sorry to hear about your heartache. I hope you will continue to build more and more strength each day. I really admire your courage.
Tj79 - I'm going crazy with the 2WW too! Not sure if you are the same but, about every hour i switch from being positive, to negative, to preparing myself for good news and then preparing myself for bad news, to letting go and not worrying. Fur babies are the best to keep you occupied, feeling secure and loved.
In other news - My transfer all went well on Saturday. Get my results on 08/08. Ended up getting 7 frozen which has been the best news and glimmer of hope for us since we have been TTC.
, positivity, hope, joy and faith to all

SJG, you are so brave to share your story, I wish you all the luck in the world for your next FET,you've had to deal with so much, its really not fair, I really hope this is the one for you XX
Hang in there Tj79 & Littlebitbritian, I found the TWW flew by when I was at my busiest, so hard not to think about it though... Hi everyone else!

Thanks for your comments ladies, but I still find it hard to keep my mind from going into overdrive, and yes my thoughts go from positive to negative, trying to remain in a good space in my thoughts, and not too positive as to set myself up for major disappoinment, but I have always been so impatient, and when I want something, I usually get it straight away with my powers of persuasion, but this isn't something I can control so I find it really hard. And I work from home, so it's not as if my mind is taken away from my personal life during the day, and I want to start doing the nursery up, but I don't want to jinx myself either.
Anyway enough about me, Catchick I hope your feeling ok, and I hope you have some good news coming up or at least some answers
Wishing you all the best everyone with all your different stages,
