Disney Baby - Congrats!! I know someone who's first HCG was only 38 and is amost due with a healthy bub. Fingers crossed all goes well for you, too!
Leafy - I hope your FET went well and that bub is a sticky one!
Sariele - It doesn't matter how you use the pessaries, as long as you use them!
AFM - had my 1st trimester scan today. High risk. CVS on Tuesday. I'm so over things going wrong. It'd be nice for positive news for a change.

CatChick Wow 9 Follies that is great maybe you will get a few in the freezer. How did EPU go?
Hopefully2 You will have your bundle in your hands soon enough. For DD I had a low lying placenta and at 36 weeks the stenographer was telling me it was still going to move. I hope your placenta moves for you.
Leafy Congratulations on being PUPO. How did your FET go? How did the Talk from Martin Seligman go? Try and hold off on the HPT as long as you can and keep yourself busy.
PerthS I’m thinking of you and hope your dad recovers. I hope that bleeding stops so you can relax a little bit. Do you know what you are having? I think your skin will clear and it will be perfect you your baby arrive. The baby’s hormones affect your hormones and that is probably why your skin is breaking out. Good luck with your CVS on Tuesday. I hope everything is ok for you. Thinking of you.

Disney Baby congratulations on your BFP. Your HCG is ok as long as it doubles. Will you be having another BT?
AFM I have been really busy with work. I finally get to see my FS on Monday. Is anyone interested in a catch up.
18-02-2012 16:23 #193
Disneybaby: Big congrats on our BFP
Perths: Is there another test that they do for further checking? please excuse my ignorance.
Leafy: Congrats on being PUPO
Samsarasmum: GL with your FS appointment
Sariele: Either way as long as they are used thats the main thing, l had nurse tell me to do them rectally once as it is less mess and waiting etc.
AFM: They retrieved 7 eggs 5 out of them were mature and have all fertilised, will get another call on Monday to see how ther are going fingers x they keep going and we get to freeze some or one, this time we will take them to 5 day blasty so trfr on Wed. (TMI warning) I'm not feeling so good, apparently l had a big bleed during collection and woke to being packed full of gauze, when they took it out l didn't think it was every going to end, made me faint because of all the blood...l just couldn't believe the amount of gauze they had packed me with!! When l got home it was very painful to urinate (like weeing glass or needles) and l had a bit of a fever, the fever has gone now but still stingy to urinate. I have spoken to the nurses and they have told me to keep up the water and try and go to the loo every 30 min and call them if it gets worse. I'm worried that l have an infection
Has anybody else had this experience?

Catchick - that sounds like a horrible experience, and very scarey. No I haven't experienced anything like that. Did they not give you antibiotics as a precaution? I hope that you are okay for transfer next week.
Disney - congratulations! You must be super excited.
Perths - oh no! so sorry to hear about the test results. How awful to go through IVF and still have more issues. for good results from the CVS.
Samarasmum - I hope the appointment goes well on Monday.
Hello to Sariele, Hopefully2 and April.
AFM - Thanks everyone for all the good wishes. FET went well and the FS was pleased with it. He said that he gave it a "good chance" or something along those lines. DH was with me when the nurse gave all the intructions about no heavy lifting etc and so he banned me from doing the vaccuming, laundry and shopping!! What a champ.

Catchick 5 fertilised that is great. How are you feeling? I am thinking of you.
Leafy That is good that DH knows about No heavy lifting etc. It’s good to see a DH doing the vacuuming, laundry and shopping. Rest up and relax I have my for you.
AFM My FS appointment went well and he was tossing up to go for next AF or go with the AF after that. I think I convinced him to go with my next cycle which is due any time now
21-02-2012 12:23 #196
Samsarasmum: Great news that you will be cycling again soon
Leafy: How is the TWW going? How many dpt are you?
PerthS: How are you? Fingers x for you and your bub
Disney:I hope you have a good strong sticky bubba in there.
AFM: The infection has gone now...phew...l was a bit worried that l wouldn't be well for the trfr. Feeling back to normal now and ready for my trfr tomorrow. So far all 5 are still going strong but l was told to expect some to drop off either today or tomorrow.

Good luck and sticky vibes for those on 2WW.
CatChick - I hope your transfer went well and your little one is a sticky one!
Samsarasmum: Great news that you try again soon.
I'm still crying - just got the results about 20 minutes ago and I still have an egg on my tummy at the needle site - and nice blue bruise to go with it. BUT the great news is all is good! Obviously they are just the preliminary results, but it's definitely not any of the common syndromes (Downs, Edwards, Turners etc) so I'm totally over the moon. Such stress relief!! Also, it's a boy! Now, of course, I'm still crampy and I'm scared that I'll miscarry, but I've not had any red bleeding (there is still some brown from the weekend) so I guess that is a good sign. I've been in bed most of the day - just getting up to pee and eat (which is quite frequent as most of you will relate to!).

PerthS: that is great news what a huge relief, rest up and look after yourself.
Trfr went well, l'm now PUPO l may even have two for the freezer, l will find out tomorrow
to everyone else wherever you are in your cycle
22-02-2012 21:25 #199
Perths - phew! Finally some good news for you. I can't imagine how relieved you must be.
Catchick - congrats on the transfer, now to survive the TWW.
Hello to everyone else .
AFM - 5dp5dt and going quietly insane. DH and I agreed to wait for the BT and not POAS but that is not until next Thursday. I still have a whole week to wait! At least the weekend will go quickly for me as I have my friend's hen's party which I am co-organising.
23-02-2012 19:44 #200
Leafy: Good for you for being strong and holding out for yout BT, l've already worked out which day l'm going to POAS
AFM: I had some good news today, l have 3 in the freezer
