    hi

im not sure if you are referring to the notion that doing ivf is supossed to give a you a greater chance of a conceiving a girl??? apparently there is meant to be very slighter higher rate of girls concieved through ivf / icsi, but its very very small i believe. you can only do gender selection in australia for medical / genetic disorders etc reasons i believe, others may know about O/S gender selection based on gender preference it in the baby gender part of the forum.

From all the people I know that have done standard IVF most have boys. Stats show that standard IVF tends to produce boys which makes sense. IVF ICSI does produce a SLIGHTLY greater chance for a girl but it's only slight. Wish there was gender choice in Australia, let parents make the decision if it's ethical or not, it should be up to them.

No, you can't do gender selection here, and hopefully you never can.

If you have heaps of money you can go overseas and do it.
