I think they do. My new born is less settled when she isnt wearing hers. And I really do think they helped clear up both girls cold. I only had them for almost a week now. I bought them from the Amber shop. And that day my oldest has a cough, runny nose the works as soon as she had the necklace on with in a hour she was all cleared up. Same goes with the newborn. I do remove the necklaces at night time due to being a bit scared the girls could choke. Soon will be the real test for them when my youngest starts teething

We notice within maybe 12 hours if we have forgotten to put it back on as he gets very unsettled!

That is the reason why you should not wear it in water is because it actually weakens the string and nothing with the amber. you still need to care for your amber with a jewlers cloth every once in a while to re polish it.

I think they work, it might just be coincidence but twice now it's been off when DD is cutting teeth [we lost it once and the other time I took it off to put it in the sun] and without it she suffered. She was crying constantly, wouldn't sleep for more than an hour and that was WITH Nurofen. Put the necklace back on and she settled straight away.

So I'm a believer. Even if it's a placebo effect I'll take it

Do they still work for 17m olds? DS is a terrible teething sleeper and has just cut bottom first molars, still waiting for tops to come through..
