I went to Fertility East at Bondi as well - Dr Julie Lukic was my FS.
We got pregnant first go as well...very unexpected. We had a 5 days blastocyst transfer The nurses at Fertility East were very nice and helped you through the uncertainty that is your first cycle. We compared prices to IVF Australia and they were quite a bit cheaper too and helped with all Medicare forms and stuff.
Dr Lukic who's office is around the corner from Fertility East, is very sympathetic to your needs and concerns and helps you understand exactly what's going on which is great as a newbie. She also can take you right through your pregnancy/delivery which is what we are now doing.
Although I've not been anywhere else I would definately recommend them and would return again if needed in the future.
Best of luck!

congratulations! I'm assuming you have either just had the baby or it's any day now.
I'm wondering how you are finding JL so far - and if she has delivered your baby yet? What was she like in the delivery? Am very interested in your feedback.

No haven't had the baby yet - in 3rd trimester though so getting closer now. Still highly recommend Julie as she's very responsive to first time jitters and freak outs and also love the fact that she takes you all the way through from fertility treatment to birth. She gives you her mobile and lets you come in for spot check ups which are bull billed if you are worried about anything at all, which is great in my view (and I have made use of this on a number of occasions). Good luck with making your decision. Hope everything works out for you. Cheers Kathy
