    Hi girls,

Anxious, congrats on EPU & fert. Good luck for ET Mon

Tens, congrats on ET, now you have the challenge of the 2ww - any idea how you'll distract yourself?

Fort, wow your time has come along again quickly... good luck for FET soon

Micca, how are you tracking? Enjoying the time off cycling for a while?

AFM, I POAS yesterday in the half dark and got bfn... when I got up later and checked it in full light there was faintest of faint lines, so wasn't sure... so of course POAS again this morning (in full light) and still bfn . At 14&15 dpt, I should have seen something so that's it for us... no babies for us . Official test is on Mon but would be an absolute miracle so not fooling myself there. AF still hasn't shown so no idea where she's hiding.
I've been telling myself that if my body has decided I'm not going to have a baby it's better to have bfn than 4th mc.... so I guess it's just the way it has to be. Haven't cried about it - just feel flat and resigned I guess. DH too. Well at least we know we did what we could... certainly can't say we didn't try enough!

If there is the faintest of faint lines does it mean any hope at all?
    I truely hope it does.
You have really been through so much already. I feel for you.
Just one thought- I noticed you are doing day 3 transfers? Is it worth having one more go with a day 5 blasty? That way they know it has reached day 5?

Thanks for trying to see the upside, Fortitude. Unfortunately the instructions say that it should be read within 3-5mins - not longer (I saw the faint line after a couple of hours); and it also says that a 'shadow' line is a bfn (which I think it is). Anyway, Monday's test will be the final result but I know what to expect.
As for going again, we promised ourselves that this is it... I think we have to draw the line somewhere. Considering this is the 1st cycle I've gotten bfn since starting acup over a year ago, and also the 1st cycle since turning 42, I'm taking it as a sign that things are getting worse, not better unfortunately.
On the upside, I can now move on and live a full life again... the last 3yrs I've felt on hold... don't do _____ in case I'm preg... can't do ______ cos we might be preg or cycling then, etc. It's exhausting and I'm a bit relieved to be finished, even though we didn't get the result we wanted. My body's just not up to it....

Being where you are now is a fear I have with IVF. Will you just accept not having children? Or are you going to look into overseas adoption?
I admire your courage and strength to try and draw that line to say no more. I understand what you mean about planning your life around :what ifs. It is a pain- I am on Clexane and haven't had a wine since Feb, off caffeine and gobbling stupid quanties of vitamins. I recently planned a girls weekend away- now I realise I will have to be carting prog pessaries with me- and HIDE it as my BFF doesn't know... what a pain.

lilwish... big hugs to you.... I hope you can get some comfort and TLC from DH
you sound so completely defeated and sad... I would be too. Have you thought about donor eggs???
again I hope that the test on monday gives you a surprise but as you say BFN on POAS at day 14-15 is fairly strong indication. just all the hugs I can muster...

Fort, I actually prefer the pessaries rectally. There's no mess and some specialists think it absorbs better as well (needless to say, not mine but as she's conservative and won't give me clexane, what she doesn't know won't hurt her).
Lilwish, my regards for your future. It takes a lot of personal power to draw a line and move on. There is a wonderful life out there and I wish you well in it. Don't forget that moving on is a journey too. I wouldn't expect it to happen all at once. From what I've seen of others, it is a bit of a process.

I'm sorry to hear about your news lilwish. A lot is certainly out of our control. You've been such a support to me with all your comments. Thank you. It's tough as I also have to prepare and think about when to stop. Life does end up revolved around ivf and is time consuming and thought consuming trying to figure out why it's not working when it doesn't work. Take care lilwish and all the best.

Lilwish - life totally sucks sometimes. I, I should say we IVF gals do it hard. I had also put my life on hold trying to conceive DD and said her cycle was the last attempt, DH & I are one of the extremely lucky ones. My best wishes to you & Your DH on whatever you do, never know a bub might be still on the cards.

Fort - I have done rectal pessaries most of my cycles, I only decided to do virg this time cause the owner of my clinic prefers it, no other reason, & yes, they absorb just the same, no mess!!!!
