Net - big hugs to you! Its a really good idea to go in for an official BT. Gives you that peace of mind. Keep us posted on how you go. Very glad to hear from you. xx

Micca - thanks for the info on vitamins and routine. Today I have completely cut out caffeine - except for hot chocolate... it's a process..

Fingerscrossed - I hope you and your DP have as calm and caring a day as possible today.

Leannep - it is official BD tomorrow. I confess I tested this morning using First Response only to be tortured with a very, very, very faint second line. I had my IUI on 9th August (14days ago) and pregnyl 5000iu on 15 August (8days ago). I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow.

    I already have 2 plan B options:

Plan B 1: booked the hairdresser for my blonde highlights and have my boozy girls lunch organised. I have even arranged a ski weekend away for next weekend!
Plan B 2: I noticed that a lot of us older girls seem to use prednisolone with your cycles. i googled this and it refers to a "bondi protocol". I am trying to convince my FS to give this a try on my next ICSI. Depending on how I feel I might go straight on to this. Reality is that I turned 43 on the weekend so its time to get down and serious.

wanabe... Id take that line as a given... the pregnyl will be out of your system cant wait to see if you get another 2 lines tomorrow....
sounds like my last positive cycle... Id booked my new FS appointment and was planning to go up when I got my bfp. At your age (my age too) I would definately go to ivf next cycle... it is the highest chance you have ..I am surprised your FS did an IUI.. but lets hope that you wont need it at all.....

fortitude... how is the 2ww treating you

Micca the odds of IVF compared to IUI aren't that different once you get older. Once you throw the expense and invasiveness of IVF in, sometimes IUI is a great idea. It has been for me anyway, more so as I only have one ovary but I'd seriously look at it anyway.

wannabe, Yay for your second line! I'd love to try prednisolone too but my FS wont' play.

Transfer went well. Dr and embryologist were really happy with the embryos.
Three transferred : all 8 cells

We also have 4 Popsicles. One was at 13 cells so they couldn't keep it.

Now to wait the two weeks

    Wannabe- faint 2 lines!!!!!!!!!!

AFM I am 100% in a good mood. Getting a bit crampy- like PMT but that's not for ages. They said I could expect cramps after the transfer. Other than that, all normal. Have the attitude 'what will be will be'- cause I sure can't change it now.
How're all you wonderful ladies going????
