My latest status update :
What is with this 1st December crap?! Come on people, Christmas doesn't last for long enough as it is...why go to alllllllll the trouble of putting the tree up, untangling lights and decorating it to have it up for such a short period of time?! November makes so much more sense to start getting Christmas-ish
It had to be said!! I get why people who have kids who have December birthdays delay putting the tree up but that's it. I do not get this whole 1st December stuff!

We put ours up two weeks ago lol only because we had just brought it and thought it was easier than trying to store it somewhere!

My new tree is 'rainbow' themed. As it's my first Christmas as a lesbian, it seems fitting I've also decorated my fireplace!

I don't think our tree will be going up this year. There physically isn't enough room for it here (it would literally take up 2/3-3/4 of our lounge room) and we're going up to the farm for Xmas anyways.

The mini fibre optic one is in the middle of the dining table. Putting lights up out the front today and will drag the big tree out probably on Sunday. Need to rearrange the lounge room first.

We will after Jasper's birthday. So probably next week or so.
