Oh wow, Berrie!! Please do share the photos as I absolutely love how people do that. One day I'll be just like her and the whole house will be themed Christmas for all of November & December

Not yet, I spend November plucking up the courage to venture into the back shed to get it..lol
Last year I opened the door (it opens out) and there was a tarantula sized huntsman on the door centimetres away from my face.
I had to get my brothers to get it after that... and thinking about it now will prob do the same this year..lol

I haven't as this will be the first year I've had to stop a child getting at it, DD wasn't mobile 12 months ago...
Any ideas for when I do put it up to stop her opening presents or worse pulling the tree down on herself?

Nah we put ours up December 1st or there abouts. Not going to my parents this year so it's going to be lonely without my pressies when I send them all. For DP I just got him a helicopter ride up the coast so it's just a gift voucher for under the tree lol

My little tree is a replica of my parents tree as I made all the baubles for that one too. It is green, with cool white lights and assorted bright gingham baubles - green, red, pink, blue, yellow and orange
And I have a string of silver beads on it.
i'm lazy, and cbf taking a pic and uploading it so here is mum's tree last year:
Mine is a miniature version of this!

Nope, we will do it late Nov/early Dec. My 4yo is asking now
We have a lovely family tradition where the extended family all go to my Grandad's and put up his tree and decorations. It's the same tree they've had since before I was born. We all have name baubles too and when we (my cousins) get married, our spouse gets a bauble
Gosh I miss my nan so much that day tho! She was mad about xmas, would get around in her mrs claus apron making sure everything was perfect. She would wrap all the gifts for us grandkids but so we couldn't work out which was which, she would number them (there are lots of us!). All good til the year she lost the list and was trying to work out who got what by feel!!
