    Default Is vaccination necessary ?

Just want to know thoughts from mothers like myself. I have had my baby boy vaccinated at birth, 2 months, 4 months & booked in shortly for 6 months....but how do we know if it is necessary & that our own bodies become stronger on their own without vaccinations ?

I believe in protecting against any nasties like whooping cough etc, but I also am a believer in natural medicine.

    Thanks for your comments...

Because, 100 years ago children died from these diseases. Now, we never or rarely see them.

    Because of vaccination.

    ^^^ What she said

Unvaxed children don't somehow resist diseases because they're strong; they avoid diseases because the children around them are vaxed and therefore don't expose the unvaxed children to the disease in the first place. If everyone stopped vaxxing, these diseases would spread again and children would return to the natural state of getting sick and dying.

I didn't mean to imply that unvaxed children weren't strong, merely that their not contracting diseases was not due to some strength that vaxed children missed out on (as the OP seemed to imply).

I don't usually go near vaxing threads, but the OP's take on it (that not vaxing might somehow enable you to fight disease on your own) seemed an unlikely take on it.
