Mine was okay too - but I was young (newly 11) and didn't want to have my period. I'd already dealt with boobs and pubic hair from 8... I didn't want to grow up. Maybe I thought if I ignored it, it'd go away? lol.

Jen, my Mum did that too. It's definitely a good idea.

I was 12 & I'd started growing some pubic hair & budding boobs by then.

I had significant breasts by 13, and reasonably regular periods by then.

From grade 3 i started wearing crop tops because i had quite big 'buds', by the end of grade 4 i was in a size 12b BRA. In January grade 6 i had my 1st period and then in October as well and has been regular since (other then 6months of the implanon, my pregnancy and the last 8 weeks on the depo-provera). Dad had a stash, mum had a stash and my oldest sister who i was staying with both the 1st and 2nd time had a stash. Plus i carried around a small purse with a spare pair of underwear and a few pads.

All I remember about mine is that I was in a lot of pain with cramps the night before and just thought it was something I ate.
We were camping on an island that had no shop and mum was not prepared at all for it to happen!! She had to go around the whole camp site asking if anyone had any pads!! Not one lady did they all only had Tampoons which I was terrified of lol. I went 5 days using toilet paper as a pad! Worse camping trip EVER!!!

Haha this is exactly what I did! And friends gave me some from their stash. I hated talking about that stuff. Even my first bra came from a friend.
