I have my daughters name along with a big butterfly on my back, and I love it. I'm also thinking of it turning inot a back rainforest mural.. But Ashton I will have my original first tat firxed and recoloured and made a little bigger. I think it depends on the person. I'll go and have a tattoo of anything, but not my prtners/husbands name.. Sorry.

A lot of them look tacky but some of them can be done really nicely.

I did hear a rumour that they have since been covered up (he's a charmer hey)
I hope that's not true and if I knew it to be true (if I knew you of course) I doubt I would ever tell you something like that.

I don't mind Tats but wouldn't do it myself. The most beautiful tat for honoring children are of the baby's hand or footprint. I think that they are sweet.
My brother is getting his new bubba footprint and name on his chest when he/she arrives in June.

As long as they don't look like a dodgy home job, i love them. The have DS's first and middle initials (DS ) done in a in a nice cersive script on the inside of my wrist. It's simple, can be covered when needed but i've never received a bad comment from anyone about any of my tattoos.

I really like them, unless I hate the child's name

I only have dd at the moment and newbie on the way we have a list of 3 extra names that we have long since planed and they all have a little image I could get to symbolize them next to their name (a flower, maple leave, a boat and a tree) I has always wanted them those little images too. But we have extra names that have moved to the list that I don't think have images connected to them
    Thanks

And i guess you can get little images that are symbolic of the child, even if they dont have a direct connection to the name? It just means you have to wait a lil longer til they get a personality or nickname etc :P
