But I am on a diet... Sigh.
Can you make a chocolate version by adding cocoa?
I must restrain myself from buying fudge at lunch.

I really love cooking and baking in general... being a stay at home mum has been the most amazing experience for me because I feel like this is what I was made to do I cook every night too We should swap some recipes!
He wont eat anything thats 'white' and no sugars or fruit so sweet is completely out of the question. The sweetest thing he has now is a glass of grapefruit juice with his coffee
He does have a cheat day once a week on Saturdays and I usually feed him disgusting but delicious cream filled buns etc

Hmm that makes it a little hard....Just cut the recipes down and make enough for yourself his choice to miss out either that or make Saturdays a special day where you only eat baked stuff lol if you want to swap recipes I am open to that I cook all sorts of things from all over the world

When I make the chocolate version I just replace the white chocolate with dark chocolate or milk chocolate buttons....I haven't tried just using cocoa instead I'm not sure if it would change the consistency as you are adding more powder it may dry it out??? I don't know
If you try it let me know how it turns out

I try to stick to Saturdays to indulge as well... I don't want to put on as much weight in this pregnancy as I did in my last. Its working as so far ive only put on 2kg. I dont want to be a huge fatty nexto my lean sexy husband LOL
What is your all time fav recipe? Do you have one?
27-10-2011 11:31 #16
hmm I would have to think about that one....I love everything lol
Are we talking sweet recipes or meal type recipes or snacks?

I prefer meal type recipes personally... I really love cooking home style meals. don't go much for the fancy shmancy stuff, I do cook it every now and then for special occasions but im all about comfort food which is delicious and big portions
Im the same I would be hard pressed to choose a single recipe but I have an amazing recipe ive been using for years for a healthier version of moussaka which tastes as good (if not better) than the real thing. I am Greek so very fussy with my Greek food
