Yay PB! Glad to hear you had a good weekend away. Sending lots of babydust your way.
Just a quick question: I"ve still not seen any EWCM, actually I havent had much CM at all. But I did get a bit of pale brown spotting yesterday... so not too sure what's going on. Has this happened to any of you? Do you all get EWCM with your positive OPK's? Could the spotting be indicative of ovulation?
Feeling so confused at the moment. Really wish I had used OPKs now...

I don't normally get alot of CM but in all honesty I've never been a big CM checker. Though I did notice this weekend that it was alot 'stickier' than normal (sorry, that sounds utterly disgusting!) so who knows what that meant.
Pale brown spotting could be implantation bleeding....maybe you O'd early this cycle and got pregnant around CD8 which from memory is when you started DTD. Not everyone gets the bleeding but implantation is normally a week after conception so the dates would add up?
Otherwise it could just be a cyst near your cervix that got injured or just some trauma from your hubby?
Sorry I can't be of much help, but I'm thinking of you and hoping its all good news. I guess it's best to DTD every couple of days just in case you haven't O'd. We're still going to try just incase.
How are the rest of you going?
FNT51? Littleyorkshire? Nic?

I'm just a tad emotional about a few things atm so this maybe a bit of a vent just need to get it out! I think we may have missed the boat this month. Did BD on Saturday night and did the dirty thing and just rolled over and let it stay up in there (I normally run to the loo straight after but a bit of TMI it all stayed in there ). But no BD since then. I'm on CD16/17 (a bit unsure as my period started late at night so I don't know what to class as CD1) and I normally O around CD17, so about now. Did an OPK today, negative so maybe I have already O'd, which is ok because of the BD on Saturday, (at least we have a bit of a chance) or I am due to O tonight or tomorrow, which is also ok because I will jump on DH before he goes to work. He just frustrates me because he wants kids and gets upset when AF comes, but then doesn't seem to take it seriously at O time. He gets flustered and stressed quite easily so I try not to make it a big deal, but to me it is.
Then today one of his so called friends sent him a text saying he was cheating on me with the friends ex and although they both deny it he has heard from 3 different people that it happened and how would I feel if the truth came out blah blah blah, which made me so cranky. Not that I don't trust DH, I know nothing has ever happened, just dont bring me into all your drama!
On the bright side I found an amazing holiday deal on Scoopon which has brightened my day! Can't wait to book it on Wednesday and have something to look forward to!
Thanks for listening and sorry to go on and on... I feel better now
and for BFP's!!!

No need to apologise Nic. This forum is the best place to vent, because we're all complete strangers - strangers that don't judge. I'm sorry to hear about everything you're going through but what really matters is that you trust and love your hubby and he trusts and loves you. Everyone else's bulls*** has no place in your lives.
It doesn't sound like all hope is lost. If you did O on Saturday or even tonight, there's still a chance that you'll be successful. And if you haven't O'd yet then even better. You've probably already done it, but have you told him how important this is to you? And it sounds like its pretty darn important to him as well. Alternatively, just wait till your next period and when he gets cranky go all PMS-super-b**ch on him haha though hopefully this won't happen because you won't get another period for at least another 9 months
Love those scoopon deals hey!

Nic, that must be awful for you hon. I agree with PB's advice, dont let people bring you down. Try to focus on your ttcing and try to enjoy it. Good luck- hopefully this will be your month and you will have your beautiful baby in no time!
AFM, I am so confused this cycle, as still have not seen EWCM (which I see most months I think!) and its CD20. The thing is, my cycles have been regular and fairly similar in length for a long time now, so going by that, I should have already O'd or will be Oing in the next day or two at the latest. So I've decided that if I see nothing by CD22 I will consider CD20 as my O day and begin my tww from there.
Where are the rest of our ttc buddies? Look forward to hearing their news soon...

Hello all! checking in from the whitsundays here! Which can only mean 3 things...
1 my holiday had started (thank god!)
2 it's my "week" to dtd as much as possable (sorry tmi!)
3 no more stress!
Friday saw me watch my 24 week pregnant friend get married and at the reception (cause I wasn't already dealing with enough) my friends decided to have an intervention about me working so much! Wasnt the time or place but I do know it came from a place of love... I think...
Saturday I had a nuteometics party so I could se my girlfriends before we left which was great.
Sunday I tackled what could only be described as the worlds largest clean pile of messy laundry. Mum stepped in and told me to leave the rest so she had something to do while were gone (she is house sitting) phew! Busty last few days!
Nic, people suck and like saying horrid things, sometimes just top get a reaction... Just focus on the awesome holiday your about to have. I'm giving you big hugs and
Pb I'm glad to hear your feeling better and your relaxing! I love my puppy but fingers crossed for your pfp
Babylily I think lots of dtd are in order for the next 2 days just incase! But at least you have a plan with counting the cycle day from 20 just incase.... I think thats what i'd do..
hello lovely new ladies! How are we all going?!

Aww thanks guys I really appreciate it..
It was just a crappy night last night, I know there are a lot of haters out there and I know who is saying these things about DH. They have miserable lives and they post there stuff all over Facebook, love to have an opinion on others but hate it when someone has an opinion on them!! As far as the friend, his relationship ended because he was abusive, emotionally and physically, so don't try to put the blame on my DH.. Argh people really drive me nuts sometimes!!
The TTC will be ok I think.. I was working long hours over the weekend (14 on Sat and 10 on Sun) so I didn't get a chance to OPK, but my mucus has ramped up in the last few days so maybe I haven't missed it!! Definately jumping on DH when I get home tonight lol..
Thanks again for your replies ladies. It's nice to have someone to talk to who isn't involved and can give fresh perspective
Hopefully we will be preggo buddies soon, not just TTC buddies!!!

wow, seems like a lot has happened since I last checked in. Hope you are feeling better Nic. Babylily, I don't always get EWCM when I O, seems to be pretty rare actually, so I don't place too much emphasis on it.
CD 3 for me, hope we caught the eggy and hope my luteal phase is long enough! Baby dust to all!

Thanks for the welcome it's such a lovely thread
PB - glad to hear you had a lovely time away and got plenty of baby making in now you are in the TWW any ideas on when you will test?
Nic - vent away it gets it all of your chest - I agree with the others don't let them get you down, just concentrate on the baby making. I was thinking maybe DH is feeling a little under pressure at "O" to perform even though he really wants a baby - I've heard it's very common for the man to feel that why, a friend of mine stopped telling him it was the right time and low and behold he came to the party more often and now she is pregnant - although I'm not saying he is feeling this way just a thought.
Babylily - i hope you get that egg in the next 2 days - I always get confused when I see little cm then all of a sudden it's there the EWCM and I think damn missed it again this month - although this month to be sure we started baby making once CM arrived.
FNT - sounds like you are lovely and relaxed time up in the Whitsundays on your holiday - perfect for baby making yeah.....
Zoo Baby - here's to a long luteal phase for you
AFM - I'm DPO 4 yeah and cannot wait for the 2TWW to be over - I'm seriously considering doing a test on Sat (8DPO) but I know in my hearts of hearts it'll be too early and I'll be disappointed, but it also means if I test that day and get a BFN I'll continue to test every day after that - damn the waiting game, there's no fun in it and it's too early to start playing the "have I got early pregnancy symptoms" game as my little eggie if fertilised hasn't even bedded in yet but fingers crossed it does soon.
Saying that though I am rather excited to be in the 2WW maybe we should all say we are UTD until proven otherwise
have a lovely day all

Im assuming Sunday was O day for me, which would make me 2DPO today. As for when I'm going to test, I don't know. Last month I told myself I wasn't going to test until at LEAST 10DPO but ended up a bit of a testing addict from about 7DPO - which i know is ridiculous, but just try and stop me! Im going to try really really hard not to test until 10DPO which will be next Wednesday (the 9th). AF isn't due until the 13th.
So i just need to get through the next 8 days. I'm on night shift this week so hopefully I won't have too much time to think about it. However, we have an endless supply of pregnancy tests at work which is going to make it a little bit harder. I don't know how sensitive they are though so maybe I'll assume they're not very sensitive at all and that it's not worth even testing with them that early
When are you ladies going to test? I'll start a list. Just copy and paste it into your reply and add yours on.
