Chubear have fun and post the pic of your cake I would love to see.
Skizzie I like your attitude. BFN doesnt get you down unlike me. This time I took a bit longer to recover from my BFN. Keep up the positive outlook wh Skizzie I would still like to be in touch even if you decide to do IVF.
BlueAngel71 sometimes ovaries just do funny things. last cycle I had two follies and I was absolutly sure I will have twins!!
Kemmy thanks for the hug dear. Hope TWW is treating you well.
th IUI/IVF can get better results. So decided to give it a go for my remaining IUI cycles. Also planning to join Yoga and Zumba in new year.
I dont know if it is because of FSH injections or what but my tummy is starting to show a little bit. One lady today asked in office if i AM PREGNANT!!! When i kindly enlighted her I am not she started lecturing me how it is not fair on kids if you have them late!!! AS IF I HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!

So sorry DQ, I hate it when I get that lecture! So insensitive!
Yeah now that I count it we are 4dpiui!
I will post some pics once I've attempted the cake
I should have it assembled Monday and hopefully decorated the same day.
So far the tww hasn't been too bad-we've been in a flu fog so haven't been counting the days.
I can't believe it's 9 days til Xmas!
So two things to count down to!
How is everyone else going?
Sorry I cant do personals as on my phone but hugs to those who need them

We received our BT results this morning. Our FS said there's some fertility hormone there but it's likely that the embryo won't make it.
Any good stories out there about low HCG levels going on to a viable pregnancy? Maybe it is still low because I'm only 13dpo? We're not giving up yet...as they Say it's not over until AF shows her ugly face!

Good Morning Everybody. The last week has been super busy for us with all the preparations for Christmas, including spending over 3hrs wrapping presents, work Christmas parties etc.
Dancing Queen, sorry to hear that AF showed up. Bigs hugs to both you and yourguide sorry to hear your work colleague gave you a hard time. Why is it people always assume it's easy to get pregnant? And even if you were choosing to wait to have children, what business is it of anyone else to comment on how you choose to live and your life decisions? I too hate this lecture. With my work I deal a lot with the public. I often get the question do you have kids? When I say no I always get the oh you should, it's the best thing, you and your husband should have kids, or some even say omg your so lucky! I never really enlighten them in the whole it's kinda hard for 2 women to have a baby just by trying!
Skizzie, firstly on things not going the way you wanted. It does sound like IVF is the next logical step for you guys. it works for you. I have a friend from works whose wife had 4 failed iui including 2 miscarriages. She then went to IVF with ovarian stimulation. They retrieved I think 6 eggs and transferred 1 embryo. Sure enough it was the pick of the litter and a very sticky one at that. They now have a gorgeous baby boy who will be 2 in January. Also, we would love to have you stay in the group, even though your journey will be slightly different, we will still support you and encourage you the best we know how. I hope you and your DP have a fantastic Christmas enjoying all those things we've all been avoiding!
Blue, I hope yur FS can work out what is going on with those naughty ovaries of yours. Fingers crossed that super hit over the head is what the need to start behaving properly, at least just once for you. They do say that weight loss can help with pcos? I guess it couldn't hurt? Good luck with it and I hope you can keep smiling over this Christmas period.
Kemmy, sorry to hear that your levels aren't what your FS expected. Hopefully your levels just keep increasing. Have you got another bt scheduled for next week? Who knows, maybe your magic squirt took a little longer to find the egg, and maybe your little egg took a little longer to attach itself to you and that's why your getting a lower level? Here's hoping that is what has happened for you.
Chubear and Flynn's Mumma, how is this tww treating you both? Are you symptom spotting like mad? I know we are.
AFM, as I said, work has been really busy, so we have been keeping occupied with that. DP has had some pretty bad back pain this time around. So much so that she ended up spending Thursday in bed the whole day. She is also really tired and exhausted, and famished all the time. I have had to double the size of the salads I send for her lunch, as well as sending her with 4 extra pieces of fruit on top of all the other things I send with her for snacks like crackers, cheese, nuts etc. And every day she finishes it all and is still starving when she gets home! Here's hoping that's a good sign? We've also been really busy getting ready for Christmas. We are headed down to the in-laws for a few days. We only have 4 days off together over the Christmas period so plan to spend it with the in laws!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas week, and that all results go our way!

Happy Sunday avo Ladies
Kemmy I hope you have a sticky little speck & your count is on its way up........if not then I think you should go and get your christmas prawns a little early & enjoy.
Catemer thanks for your 'work buddy story' i love to hear when IUI/IVF works, it makes me feel positive about the road ahead I really really really really hope the symptoms your partner is feeling are a good sign. How is she going with the Crinone and Clexane?
DQ I hope you are feeling better about your bfn it's ok to feel sad, we invest so much emotion into this process. Its healthy to let out what ever emotion you are feeling at the time, keeping them in will only make you feel worse in the long run. I am positive about this process for the most part but I have hit rock bottom on several occasions, i just pick my self up & keep moving forward.
Chubear I hope you are both getting over the flu
Blue I hope you are feeling positive about the next level of overy intervention, I hope there is some movement down there for you next cycle. Im not sure why you would have experienced severe cramping at this stage of your cycle, perhaps it is your body reacting to the drugs. I know my entire cycle has changed since using them, I used to be like clock work but now i am a little all over the place because of the injections.
Mellington, I hope you are ok & your scan went well last week
Flynnsmumma I hope the TWW is treating you ok
AFM - AF hasnt really shown up as predicted, I have spotting/intermittent light flow but thats about it which is very unusual for me. I usually have pretty much full flow from the moment she arrives. I am feeling a little confused, i'm going to put it down to the injections but call our FS tomorrow to check if this is normal. Other than that I have been super busy preparing for my parents arrival, they are living overseas - in Thailand for my dad's work. My mum was here 6 months ago but I havent seen my dad for a whole year which for us is nuts, we are a really close family. I am busting to give them a big hug
I hope you all have a lovely week.....Santa comes soon

Chubear all the best for next week. good you are enjoying your time planning for Xmas and not stressing too about tww.
Kemmy think positive. It has never worked for me so far but i have heard brain sends positive signals to the body if your thoughts are positive. As you said it's not over till AF arrives.
Skizzie :-) Can it be implantation bleeding? I will take it as a good sign if AF has not arrived yet. Thanks for your encouraging words :-) I wish a Xmas miracle for you my friend.
Catemer your DP is showing all the good signs. loads of magic baby dust coming along your way. I know about the annoying questions. Sometimes I feel like giving back to them but I control myself as it it not worth it. I have learned to not get too sensitive about it.
Blue start new cycle with a bang :-) every cycle on injections is different.
I have taken a day off work as my cute little Maltipoo is not feeling well since saturday. He just stand in the corner and look up as if he is thinking how to solve the world problems!!! Vet has done all the body function tests and everything is alright. It seems Max (my dog) is depressed since the party on saturday night and Vet just gave up saying it is neurological and we should go to specialist to see why he is depressed!!
I am going to take him to the dog park and do all his fav things to cheer him up a bit. has anyones dog ever reacted in such a way?

Sadly my levels never did begin to rise
I had another BT yesterday and the levels have completely dropped... I'm still waiting for AF to arrive.
DP and I have been pretty emotional... we let ourselves hope for the best and it's just so devastating. From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we became mothers and it is devastating for it to be gone a few days later!
Had no choice but to tell the girls in my office this morning... someone asked if I was feeling better (had yesterday off work) and I burst into tears.
Still have my for lots of BFP's for everyone this month

In the middle of a massive work week, so am catching up a bit late on what has been happening.
Kemmy, I am so sorry. What a massive range of emotions you both have gone through At the very least, you can now eat and drink a bit more freely for Christmas-after all you both have been through, it will be nice to do that together. Not the same by any means, but hopefully next time it will be your turn.
Catemer, it's all looking good at your place! I have a really good feeling for you and your DP this time. Bring on Wednesday!(that's when you test, right?)
Chubear - how you feeling? I will be testing tuesday as well, so hey?
I have had a few unusual days where I would be really teary, for no reason, then others where I am really stressed/anxious. I can't stop it, as much as I try. Wierd.
Anyway, today I was alright ...
Dancing Queen, that lecture by your collegue makes me furious!
How dare they say anything like that, not knowing the circumstances of you - or anyone for that matter. Argghh, it makes me so mad.
As for your dog, I hope he is ok. Maybe he is in tune with you and what you are going through. My dog has had times like that, but it has usually been if we have be really busy and haven't given him as much attention as usual. A good idea to take him to the park and see how he goes. Do you reckon he needs an x ray? Could he have swallowed something at the party?
Skizzie, we would love you to share your journey from here. Enjoy your Christmas and let us know how you are going
Mellington, how are you? How did your scan go? I hope you are coping this week leading up to Christmas after you hectic cycle!
Blue Angel, for your next cycle - we are all here for you!
So, it is now a week today to go for me. I think I will resist the hpt's - too worried about getting the incorrect result due to fsh and trigger. I think it will be nice to receive that phone call together from my blood test results on tuesday arvo. We will be together that day
I have a really heavy chest, tender, but not sore, and am feeling a bit emotional the past 5 or so days. Feeling tired, but have been working fairly hard and it is the lead up to Christmas - shopping etc. So not sure if that means anything at this stage. I
Have a good week everyone, good luck with all the Chrissie shopping!
