Can't bring myself to watch. I read this this morning and was horrified. How could anyone walk past a child hurt on the road like that?

No, she's not. She has severe injuries and is brain damaged. They do not expect her to survive.

I find it difficult when reading about this since it happened in China, which is so different from Australia... but it's good that they've charged the drivers. I wasn't sure they would. I know that their judicial system is not exactly that great usually... so I am pleased that at least that much is happening.

That's insane. I won't watch the video the images are disgusting enough

I've seen a toddler and mother hit by a car recently (they were both fine. Just scratched up) and even though I'm pregnant I ran onto the middle of the road before even looking for traffic because instinct took over before any other thoughts could enter into it. She was sitting and crying so I picked her up and carried her off the road - someone else got her mum. I can't wrap my head anyone wouldn't do the same. (well maybe someone with a little more sense might stop and look first)

Yeah no. That's just horrific that people didn't stop.

I made the mistake of watching the full unedited video yesterday and nearly threw up. I'll never get the footage out of my head the guy on the bike swerved around her FFS!

They should charge all the people in that footage who did nothing.

Poor darling and her poor parents.
