    Default One born every minute

I am currently watching one born every minute on SBS. There is a lady absolutely frantic and screaming in labour. It terrifies me to hears her. Is this what I missed out on? How do the other patients feel when they hear someone screaming like this when they are about to go through the same thing?

I think her reaction is extreme. Even the midwives were shocked.

I agree kw her face when the baby is born makes it all worth it but still her labour pain was horrendous.

A mother's love do you cry from happiness when bubs is born or fear for her when she is screaming?

I feel for poor Alfie when his girlfriend is wheeled away for a c-sect and he is just waiting there by himself.

Thats why I don't want to watch this until after my labour! I'm due in 2 weeks and I don't need to be seeing that kind of thing!

Happiness. It's such an amazing experience. And yep hurts like a mofo. But worth of in the end.

I've seen this episode but am watching it again. I think the one screaming has just become overhwlemed and panicked that's why she's so hysterical. She doesn't sound like she is in a lot of pain to me she just sounds like she's not coping. It doesn't put me off, I have already gone through the desperate panicked stage and am now fairly at peace with it

Ps this might change when labour starts lol

I was talking to a GF earlier today about how I wouldn't have an epidural when I go into labour (once I conceive first lol!) but now I'm second-guessing after hearing her screams!! I can't believe the midwives were laughing at her!
