It's all over ladies the scan revealed an embryo measuring about 7 weeks (tomorrow I would have been 8 weeks), but no heartbeat, nothing. this was my first ever BFP, now my first ever angel
We had been preparing for bad news, but you can never really prepare for the reality of a bad outcome DH and I are a bit shell-shocked, devastated. But we will try again.
I go in to hospital tomorrow afternoon for a D & C to remove our little one. I will have to wait at the hospital for 3 hours prior to the procedure - excruciating!
Thanks for your support - I guess I'll be going back to the TTC, PCOS thread - I wish you all happy, healthy pregnancies! I'll keep my eye on you all

Oh Miggins, that is devastating news. I'm am so deeply sorry for your loss. The pain you must be feeling is unimaginable. Please be kind to yourself and do and feel whatever you need to. I hope tomorrow is not as unpleasant as it sounds.

Hey Ellymoe, best of luck for tomorrow, I'm sure you will love seeing that little heartbeat! It was such a bizarre feeling for me, being attached to something so small and non-human looking. In a few short weeks you will see it so differently. I was amazed yesterday to see little fingers and toes. At my 7w scan the baby had stubs growing, I was so excited, now it's all real like a proper baby!
As for work, bleh!! I'm a primary school teacher and boy was it hard! I'm on hols now and it's great timing as when I return I can announce my pregnancy with confidence. I introduced a new eating policy in my class, they can eat fruit or veggies all through class! This was simply so I could munch away on carrot sticks to keep the nausea away! The kids think it's great! The toilet was an issue though, it is not even on the same floor as my classroom! I told my friend in the room next door so she helped me out by covering when I needed to make a dash! do whatever you have to to survive!
Welcome Waiting, thanks for the mind words, it's nice to hear that things are going well for you.

Had my scan today, all good, saw the heartbeat. Had prepared DH re: the fact that just because I have MS etc, doesn't mean everything is fine even though we hoped it was. Feeling very happy but still not out of the woods of of course.....

Congrats Ellymoe!! what was the heartrate?
AFM; Today was my scan and I measured at 7weeks 1 day which indicates implantation around 24 hours after ovulation which is exciting. Will have to change my ticker as first date of the 31st May was given based on the first day of LMP and the new date is 4 days later on the 3 June 2012.
The heart rate was strong and flicking away on the screen and was amazing to hear 120bpm which specialist said was excellent. Also the bub was quite cute laying back at the bottom of the sac quite relaxed looking :-D
My DH was so amazing - he teared up and it was very emotional all up.
Even the FS was so so happy for us and gave us two little pics of Junior to take away which is on the mantle now.
Are you ladies buying anything yet?? Where are you all having your babies?
I hope your all having an amazing time with your pregnancies and I am keepiing for everyone and sending loads of
