Hope everyone is keeping well. We had a 3D scan yesterday (15 weeks) and they were able to tell us it's a girl!! I'm so happy! Husband was hoping for a boy but is happy either way. Now I can start shopping. Yay!!

Yay! That's so exciting KellyMac! Congratulations! I'm sure hubby will love her just as much as any bub
I'm about the same stage as you, just about to reach 16weeks over the weekend, but our next scan is still 3.5 weeks away (morph scan) - the waiting will be very hard! I want one now!!

Thats exciting Miggins but I totally understand about the waiting thing. I was very impatient so we paid $100 to have the early 3D scan. Looks like we are due about the same time. Dr gave me a new due date of September 2nd. Going to be 16 weeks tomorrow (Sunday)

Yep, my EDD is 2nd September! We're sticking with that date, even though the NT scan measurement said more like 30th August. OB is happy to stick with 2/9

That's so cool! At first when my scan showed a difference he said stick with the 6th then when the next one showed 4 days ahead again he said go with the 2nd which means I am due on Fathers Day!

AFM - Little man is kicking up a storm and moving heaps love the feeling of him tumbling... i'm in 3rd trimester now which is so scary and has really made it hit home that in 3 months he will be here.
The last bit of nursery furniture arrived yesterday so glad that is done and now i can focus on getting all the little things
Going to take a week off sick leave next week once i see dr, my stress levels are rising too high and i don't want to risk my health or little mans.

Ah! Ok so, that wasn't so hard! Lol.
....introducing my Vivienne Rose ....
She really is a great baby who sleeps like a dream. I have to wake her up for her night time feeds or else she'd happily sleep through. In fact I'm feeling a little guilty today as my alarm woke me up for her 2am feed and I turned it off and next thing I knew I was waking up again another two hours later! She just kept sleeping!! Poor lil chicken
So everything is cruising along fine EXCEPT for feeding. I had gotten to a stage where I thought my nipples were going to fall off, in fact they were starting to fall of in scabs and I had blood clots coming out of them and was curling my toes up in sooo much pain every time Viv would latch on....ouch!!! So I decided to express for about 5 feeds and give her expressed breast milk out of a bottle just to give my nipples a little time to heal. Well they healed super dooper fast with that little rest and by lightly rubbing Brest milk on them after each express so I went to put Vivienne back on and....well, she decided she would much prefer to drink out of a bottle thank you very much! So I've been to a lactation consultant and have been having SO much trouble getting her back on the boob ever since and then bad turned to worse and I ended up crook as with mastitis (bleh!) and now have what feels like a huge big rock in each boob and have gone from being able to get approx 80 to 110 mls of milk per boob/per express to barely getting 20mls from one and struggling to get 60mls from the other! My life at the moment feels like....express, feed, wash & sterilize expresser and bottles, change a few nappies and sleep when possible..... round and round like that :-/ So learn from my mistake ladies, introduce a bottle with great caution! But seriously as hard as it feels at the moment, she's totally worth it and I know a lot of other babies swap back and forth from bottle to boobies like nothing....
