Gosh I must be impatient... I know how close December is and it still feels SOOO far away!!
I guess i'm also thinking that DP will want to delay things till after xmas, although we'll see closer to the time!
He did mention the other day how nice it would be to have a baby while our gorgeous little puppy is still little so he might be getting more excited and want to bring it forward

Oh shani babies and puppies were meant to be! We had a border collie pup with our 1st baby now with our 3rd baby we got a labby puppy. And they adore each other! melts my heart to watch babies and puppies together!
I thought December was ages away too gun until I realized when I looked at my fertility calander that I only have 2 cycles left to start TTC and one of them cycles starts next week!!! Although going by my charting probably won't have an opputunnity to get UTD til around January 10 according to my body! Lol!!!!
We are all no protection and actively trying from Xmas day onwards.

Hey Dannii, yeah Harry is our beautiful blue heeler pup who is nearly 6 weeks who we bring home in nearly 2 weeks. Sooo excited and we both feel that babies and puppies go so well, also would love to be on maternity leave and be home with our new puppy more, it's going to be heart break to leave him and go to work!
Yeah, unless we decide to start earlier it's off the contraception for xmas - not a bad pressie hey! but I have this feeling that he's going to be up for trying a little earlier as I've had a bit of a rocky road with waiting for colposcopy results and wether or not I will need a LETS procedure for cervical changes, so if that all come's back ok then hopefully we will start a little before xmas. It's just a 2ww now for my results... not the 2ww i'm after tho!!

So I am already on normal vitamins ( just swisse ultivit) should I still be changing to a pregnancy on?
And looks like it may be the pill causing my headaches, will find out Friday, if so will have to stop it sooner! Secretly happy but really should wait another month at least just don't know if I can wait that long!!
How's everyone's wait going?

I hope babies and puppies go together, as we have a year old German Shorthaired pointer called Bentley and he is my baby at the moment, we spend so much time together, I hope that he isnt jealous when a baby comes along.
I am a little worried about how he will go with a baby in the house, but we are currently teaching him "shhhh, the baby is sleeping when he barks" , not that he is a big barker, but its funny to see him run around the house looking for the baby.
OMG, 7 weeks still to go fefore we TTC and I think it feels like so far away still....
I haven't gone off the pill as yet, but was thinking that I would stop taking it around mid November and then see what my cycle does for a couple of cycles and then hopefully we will get a BFP

Well DH has decided that we should now wait until AFTER Christmas and New Years before we TTC....booooooo!! Haha. He wants me to still be able to drink at Christmas and New Years but I have told him that I don't mind not drinking I also reminded him that if we wait until after every 'event or birthday or wedding' will will never start TTC!!
So I now need to convince him that we should start sooner than later!

Mum2alex- I would be starting pregnancy vits now if going to TTC in Dec my biggest reason is the morning sickness blend to get a build up in my system before pregnant as it's only meant to really work if you take them 2 months prior TTC. Oh and I think some vits can be high in certain things your not meant to have too much of when pregnant or can cause defects like vitamin A where as pregnancy vitamins have a limited amount. But with saying that, I was taking regular vits when fell pregnant with 1st and she turned out fine I just switched when found out was pregnant. Wouldnt be too concerned about it so long as when your actively TTC you switch over then
Slu- I think all doggies can be a bit curious when you bring home a new baby and takes time for them to settle down a bit. But I think you'll find over time they'll become best friends!
Hol- booooo! Lol we've been talking about waiting until June next year I'm not sure what I want to do yet... And I'd much rather have a baby in my belly than be worried about drinking over Chrissy/new year lol.
QUESTION; out of interest what is everyone's reasons for waiting until December TTC again?
Mine is because of hubby just started new job directly with the mines and if we wait til Dec then by time baby's here will be 12 months and he can get an awesome paid paternity leave from the mines. Which would help us out heaps as I'd have to have another c section too
