@Soques must be different Dr D's! I'm with Gabrielle Dezarnaulds - she has the best manner, so supportive.

I'm at Kent st, expecting to go in for my first jab etc on Sat/Sun depending on when AF arrives. Never wanted it to turn up so badly..
@rachie5 that's great that you're with Genea because I think you've had some success this cycle - am i right?! So exciting.

@Soques what's the acupuncture like? Are you noticing a benefit? Is it expensive?

I am loving the acupuncture. Even if it is just to have 30 mins of peace and quite. Patricia is wonderful. It's $120 for the first appointment which is an hour, which include a 30 min treatment. Then other treatments are $90 (if you have private health you can get some of it back usually) or you can purchase a block in 10 for $710. I have had three. Last IVF only had 4 follicles. This time I have at least 10. So not sure if it is the acupuncture, the supplements my FS has prescribed, but I think it's probably a combination. Next treatment will be after epu and then two on transfer day. One before and one after. And then I'll be going home to townsville so will see if I continue once I get home

    Thanks @Soques that's really helpful.

Do they recommend a minimum amount/specific days for it?

Definitely day one or two... And then every week... I ended up doing it anytime I had a blood test as they are in the same building... I have had three... Day two, day eight, today (day 11)... Now won't again until after epu (to help with pain) and then two more on transfer day... So 6 for me... If we get to transfer this time, this time around.
