M2N I am so sorry you are going through such a hard time. As the others have said at least you caught it early and can get Nathan the best care now you know what the issues are. Big hugs to you and your DH in this very hard time. You are a wonderful mother xxx
Backflip I think you are truly inspiring I've followed your journey since we were all on the positive train so very long ago. Mitchell is very lucky he chose you to be his mum. I'm sure he will thrive in your loving care xxx

M4N - I would be worried if you weren't concerned and worried and wondering if you had done the right thing getting pregnant again. You are a wonderful mum, and while you may have many challenges ahead, they will sculpt you and enhance the love you have for your Nate. Hopefully your next will have no issues to worry about, but if he does, you will cope, as everyone does. You have a big heart.
BF - you ARE inspiring.

Backflip - you are one fantastic mum, I shed a tear at your beautiful story, M is a gem.
M4N - you are a fantastic mum too, don't ever doubt yourself. These days are tough for you but you will only become stronger for it
Being a mum is the toughest job in the world and sometimes too often harder than it should be, it's women like yourselves that put things into perspective and you realise how great we are and can strive to be better.

kismet: how is evie, is she sleeping better? we are at my dads tonight, i really dont fancy waking up, i might sleep on the lounge.......

JFB - Evie is heaps better, she cut 2 teeth after that process. On Friday she took off walking, just let go of the lounge and walked half way across the lounge room and Saturday she was walking heaps but hasn't done much since. She just gets excited when she can stand up on her own atm, starts waving her arms then this knocks herself over. We had daycare xmas disco party yesterday and she had a ball. She's a little bit cranky now as she just woke up and won't eat her lunch yet, too engrossed in watching Waybaloo & cracking herself up.
Hope H settles well tonight.

Thanks ladies, I'm the lucky one- as you all are to have our special little kids, no matter what wrapping they come in.
We've hit another little hurdle, Mitchell has a swollen teste, so we had it scanned today and he has a hydrocele, at his age it is unlikely to go away, and could cause him to become infertile...so off to a paed surgeon for an appt with a knife... It will be his 4th GA. Least I'm not scared of them anymore!
