MG: loved the birtn story, i think thats how we all want a birth to be, quick, but not too quick (aka on the kitchen floor ), now if i could have one like that i reckon i could hack it (with an epi of course), well done.
kismet: mmm do u take a long time to make to your mind at restaurants ??? i guess u could always toss a coin if all fails , you know one of my concerns about going again was the "could" i stop once started..TBH after doing just one cycle i knew i only had a coupe left in me, it was starting to get "too hard" and i do think having to do a lot of cycles b4 it defnately contributed to that...oh and i just cried my way thru that show for the couple that had had 4 m/c b4 they had a baby and how they worried all the way thru expecting something to go wrong and even after she had the baby she said you have to move on but u never forget the losses..oh dear im very hormonal tonight...
nessie: good idea i think aboiut a bit of cousnelling, i think its useful just to voice what has happened....
yes just the past week the cankles have come outta the wood work....right on cue at 18wks ...farkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk it. i need to make sure i go to bed early and get up and walk around a lot at work..but i feel really fat cos i can feel my whole calf is bigger.....i'll never be one of slim healthy looking pg women who can dash around in skinny jeans and short dresses......

Moon, wow what a birth story...fantasticly quick!!!! I hope little Archie is feeding well and thriving!!!!
jfb - oh..the lovely swelling....not. I lived in my Birkenstock for 6 months....lol
Going to my GP on Monday. I will discuss dhea with her, but I might just do some blood test first, I feel a bit nervous about it. Did you guys get any side effects...reading on the net gets me a bit not so sure....
Archie took 7 steps yesterday, I can't believe it, he is groing up way to quick..I feel definitly it is time for another baby...as my baby is no longer a baby...lol
I wished we didn't have to wait until april/may before next cycle, if feels so hard to wait as our plan was to do a FET a few months back but decided against it due to finanical side of things. I am itching to be pregnant again...(not looking forward to the swollen feet though.....)
My friend is having her heartbeat scan next Friday - it feels a bit tough still...but i am getting excited for her..gave her all my pregnancy books to read....I think she will have a girl for some reason. Time will tell.
I hope everyone is having a great day.....

Swede - DHEA was my miracle too i believe - and patience waiting for it to work... - 75mg dose. I didn't have side effects though - I felt GREAT on it
Wow Archie is an early walker!! Better batten down the hatches ready for incoming!!
JFB - sorry about the cankles - I'm also not peeing much (nor drinking enough I suppose) as I don't trust the 'old' pelvic floor in public. No cankles for me as yet
Question - I spend hours researching double prams - any recommendations?? Second hand or new? I need something that's easy on hills and fairly light weight but durable as I do ALOT of walking.... DS1 won't use the skateboard I fear - he's too much in love with his pram to give it up to anyone!

Swede, I didnt have any side effects when I took it for Ruby, but the second time it made some of my hair fall out, not in clumps or anything, just had a thinning effect, but I truly believe its the reason why Im preggers.
Mum4Nay, I bought the phil & teds dash when I found out no. 2 was on the way. Im really happy with it, but havent used the double bit yet of course! I got a great deal online, brand new with double attachment, rain and sun cover $599. Funny with the GD, I had two neg tests and one positive. Due to my babies size my OB reckons Im borderline. I have asked them to do a BT on bub when he's born as Ruby had blood suger levels in the ones when she was born which can result in seizures apparently.
Fionalice, goodluck with your scan! I bet this 2ww is excrutiating!!
Amum, that sounds like heaven! Who cares if it rains, an excuse to eat, drink and be merry! Just hope they have ABC 2 on the TV for the kids! Yes, my cankles are chronic arent they! Ohhh the pain, truly feels like my skin is going to split
JFB, which my cankles were not peeing, but I am peeing every 2 hours at night and my ankles are about as thick as my knees at the moment!!!
MG, your birth story was amazing! Nearly made me consider having a natural birth... umm, nearly but not. TBH Im too scared to VBAC at my age, and apparently bubs is measuring 3-4 weeks bigger
Sonja dont know how you do it with 3 and with DH away so much! I cant belive M is crawling already, feels like he was only just born! Spewing we didnt get to catch up when you were over. Hopefully we can next time and we can meet each others new additions!
Hi to everyone else.
AFM Struggling really, working, working, working up to Christmas and trying to get as much business in as possible before bub arrives. Ive officially had the diagnosis of Pelvic Instability, so wearing a brace thingy and been told no walking, shopping, cooking etc... how the hell am I meant to not do that??? Apparently the condition will keep getting worse up til birth... and thats still 4-5 weeks away. So just struggling a bit with everyday stuff really. The positive side is I really CANT WAIT till this little bub is born, and with Ruby weighing it at 13kgs now Im looking forward to holding a teeny weeny baby again

JFB - yep I'm always the one that orders last and then gets plate envy when everyone's orders come out thinking I should have got what they got. It took me 2 years to decide to do ivf in the 1st place , kicked myself over that cos didn't know it was going to be so dam hard, but once I start something I really get going with it & sometimes I thought to myself wow I can't believe I'm actually doing all this. And for that reason yes one of the things that bothers me is can I stop when I plan to this time and be able to deal with it if it doesn't work cos I know how I was before Evie came along. I imagine I will be ok because I now have Evie but I'm sure you know what I mean, it will also be pretty hard if it fails.
Amum - lucky you, hope the weather shines for you
M4N - I have a strider plus which is great for walking, it's not awkward to handle, comes apart in 2 pieces to fold away, also you can get the attachable bits ie capsule if you want it. I believe they now come in a double (front & back) pram, you can look them up on the internet. You may be able to even find one on line going cheap.
Swede - look out, time to lock everything up! Go Archie.
AFU - well $250 later after taking Evie to an allergy dr & dr only asked a few questions and looked at her, opinion is she doesn't have food allergies, didn't even think it necessary to do skin prick tests, just advised to try her on soy milk and refer her to a skin specialist as she doesn't think the skin rash on her is eczema....grrrr thanks GP for NOT picking up on that one, could have saved me the money thanks. FFS these people know how to charge! Only consolation is at least I don't have to change her diet, that would be a huge pain.

BK - missed your post. Wow you are copping it sideways atm poor thing, I still think you might go a little bit early again.
Swede - I didn't have many side affects on DHEA either, just a few pimples on my back, a bit of hair loss but nothing to worry about, other than that I thought it was a wonder drug bcs I felt great, more energy, great skin, looked healthier that much that people commented how good I was looking....it's thought to help keep you youthful! I definately believe it helped me get better quality embryos.

Kel my sister had the same thing at the end of her last pregnancy and it was really hard on her. I hope the time passes quickly got you. Yes I would have loved to have seen you last time we were in Melbourne. Hopefully we'll get over there again soon.
M4N we bought the mountain buggy double when I was pregnant with Scarlett - I love it. I would use it every day. We walk everywhere around here and it's really hilly and I find it very easy to use. I loved the idea of the kids being side by side in the pram and at times when Marc or Scarlett when she was little got upset the older child can entertain them with games of peekaboo etc. Other mums with a few kids told me with the prams with the older kid under the baby you need to make sure they don't get their fingers caught on the wheel as that can happen.
Swede it must be so frustrating having to wait. Sending you lots of . I suspect Marc will be an early walker. Scarlett was up and walking by 11 months and life changes dramatically.
JFB and Kel I hate cankles. I really don't miss being pregnant some days.
Amum have a great weekend away.
We have the Christmas tree up and the house looks like a christmas shop. the girls were in charge of decorating this year so you can imagine how it looks. Am feeling quite organised this year as with DH away next week then school breaking up the following week I won't have much a chance to do much after this weekend. I'm having a day to myself this Sunday before DH leaves Monday - first full day to myself in about 2 years. going to go for a run in the morning then the movies and a bit of shopping I think. bliss

Sonja I'm a bit worried about it. My girlfriend had it and ended up with a walking stick. My OB said that only a small percentage end up in a wheel chair!!! Just hoping it doesn't get too unbearable
