Alittle - Good for you. I would be there in a heartbeat as well as getting legal advice. Don't let that ahole get off scott free...how dare he do that to you and your mum. I bet he knew that you were entitled to your mums things and did it out of spite.........Go get him mummy
Jfb - Nessie - I hate my boss (the one i report to) but i love the boss above him and he is so nice to me and is begging me to come back. I thought i might be able to negotiate my return on the basis i don't have to report to the ahole...........my job is perfect, all school hols off and part time. If all that fails i'm going to the headmaster and see what he can do for me.
I can only ask right... if you don't ask you don't get...well that's what i'm telling myself.
As for the day care visit...it was fantastic....I LOVE IT......so Kade is on the list...here's hoping there is a place for him next year.

Alittle - OMFG what an ahole!! I don't think I could be very composed if someone did that to my mum's things, they wouldn't see the back of me until I made their life hell. I hope you can resolve something, he has been absolutely disrespectful to you as his partner's daughter for too long and surely he would know this would have upset your mother.
Tired - oopps I did a typo in my previous post re finding out the sex, I put the wrong name, it was obviously meant for you.
Amum - glad you like the daycare, wish I could say the same for ours. Well it has only taken 2 days for Evie to become Miss Snotty Face once again! can they actually get colds that quick? She was also sunburnt on the face when I picked her up, they tried to tell me she had a red mark on her face from sleeping on it, it got worse late that afternoon, so I am going to have a word to the director tomorrow. Not happy.
Nessie - hoping you and Ash can lift your sister's spirits.
JFB - wow that will be a lot to handle, you will be exhausted+, I suppose the good thing is it won't be long term.

Amum I would just be honest with your Boss, if he values you as an employee he will make it work for you.
Kismet we are also sick, I'm am absolutely exhausted today I thinkmi will go to bed very soon......well maybe after Xfactor! I would be major p****d if Ash came home from daycare with sunburn, you really need to put all this negligence in writing as they are clearly not listening.
I don't think we will go to Sydney tomorrow, Ash is way to grizzly.

amum: i agree with nessie, just be honest and yep cant hurt to ask. i hate my boss too (altho i am pretty bored with job as well, been in it for like 3 years just for teh mat leave really). glad u liked the daycare.
alittle: i hope your visit went ok.

Sorry yes have been very quiet lately. DH was in Sydney this week and then we had lucy's sports carnival today and had lots of baking to do for that so life has been extremely busy. I do get on from time to time but by the time i read I don't get time to post and am so shagged at night I can't get on here at all. I hate posting without repsonding to all your news so I tend not to post at all.
Alittle what your step dad did is abhorrent. I hope you get some resolution.
Kismet oh no! I think Marc has croup so we're off to the dr tomorrow. Had no sleep for the past few nights as the poor kid's been so unwell during the night. Just what I need while DH is away.
Mum4nay any results yet?
Hi to everyone else. Sorry still have 2 kids to get to bed.

Sonja - how'd you go at the dr with Marc? not very nice to have croup.
JFB - I would have thought Evie would have built a good immunity by now with all the colds she's had but I suppose there's too many strains, we still get them as adults so I guess we don't really become immune to them, I haven't even bothered taking her to the dr's the last few times but considering she's had so many close together I probably should if she's no better over the weekend.
Nessie - hope you and Ash are a bit better.
I had a whinge to the director of daycare about the sunburn and also asked about dropping her out for the rest of the year but this would mean we lose her day as it will go to someone else and then we will be put on the waitlist again as they have a fullhouse next year. Poo. I am sure they would like to see the back of me by now. Am looking at other daycares for next year, so far no vacancies either.

Kismet I'm glad you had a talk to the Director. DH was horrified when I told him what happened. I hope you find a new one that works better for you & Evie soon.
JFB I was really tired in the early weeks of my pg with Ash, I guess each pg is different.
Sonja I don't know how you do it I would be hopeless. Really hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.
Both Ash & I went to the Drs today & both have middle ear infections in our right ear how weird is that? I feel like c**p so hate to think how Ash s feeling. Dr also told me I have swimmers ear & will need an operation to fix it funny as I only swam whilst pg with Ash.

Hi girls, I am lurking but just haven't had the energy to post. I also don't know how you do it Sonja!!
I feel like we've been doing it tough, and s is horrible and needy while teething. Being pregnant sure doesn't help. Feel like all I've done is complain recently. . Dh is as helpful as he can be while here, but s def acts differently with me, to him. S is much more independent with dh, and therefore dh can get stuff done. I'm seriously starting to wonder how on earth s is going to cope when the new baby comes. I'm also starting to wonder how in earth I'm going to survive!! Oh well, it will sort itself out I'm sure.
Hope all are well. Xx

MG. I can so relate. Ruby is like a cling-on when I'm around. I can't get a second of peace. If she's not clinging to me or wanting to be picked up she wants to read a book. Like I'm telling you we read about 50 books a day. No joke. I wonder how on earth she will cope when I'm spending all my time with a newborn. Thank god we have found a childcare place for one day a week at least. I guess kids adjust as they have to though. Maybe it will be just what S and R need to become a little more independent of us. It sure is exhausting though looking after a needy clingy child while preggers!
